Chapter 16

Leo's pov

It's been a week since the accident and Cuphead's still not awake. Mugman has been getting more and more worried the past week. I asked Donnie a couple days ago if Cuphead's ever gonna wake up but he's still unsure. The injury was pretty deep.....but, the other day....Donnie found out that Cuphead's in a deep coma. He doesn't know when he'll wake up. It could be weeks, months, or whenever. Mugman was devastated when he found out. He hasn't spoken to any of us since he found out.

Raph's pov

It's been a week since Cuphead got injured and now he's in a deep coma.....poor little guy....I hope he wakes up soon.....

Then, I heard someone knocking on my door.

Raph: Hello?

Then, I saw Mugman in the doorway.

Raph: Oh. Hey, Mugman....how are you feeling?

Mugman:.......

I walked up to him and he barely looked up at me.

Raph: Mugman? Are you feeling okay?

Mugman: (hic)

My face becomes concerned and I gently lifted up his chin with my finger.

Raph: Mugs....are you okay?

Then, I looked at him in the eyes and saw the tiredness in his eyes.

Raph: Mugman.....when was the last time you slept?

Mugman: I....

Tears started to well up in his eyes. My face becomes more concerned. I gently put my hand on his shoulder.

Raph: I know you're worried about your brother but-

Then, Mugman pulled away from me, tears threatening to spill from his eyes.

Mugman: I AM WORRIED ABOUT HIM! IT'S BEEN A WEEK AND HE DIDN'T WAKE UP! AND NOW HE'S IN A COMA! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW! HE MAY NEVER WAKE UP! I....I...

Then, right then and there, he broke down into sobs.

Raph: Mugman.....

Mugman: (sobs) Please (hic) just....leave me alone.....

Tears streaming down his face, he walks away from my room and headed towards the living room.

Raph: (sigh)

I went back into my room and closed the door.

Donnie's pov

Ever since yesterday, Cuphead has been into a deep coma....I don't know what else to do now.....he has a deep wound in his chest, he lost alot of blood, and I don't know if he'll ever wake up.....

Mikey's pov

I'm worried for the others, especially Mugman. He hasn't talked to any of us....except for Leo....ever since Cuphead fell into a deep coma.....I was so worried....the deep wound he had....I saw it with my own eyes.....I thought I was going to lose him.....but it's a good thing I found him in time, but....I don't know if he'll ever wake up.....

Third person pov

Mugman walked into the living room to find Leo sitting on the opposite side of the couch while Cuphead still remains unconscious. Leo turns around to face his friend.

Leo: Hey, Mugs....how are you feeling?

Mugman:......good, I guess.....

Mugman sat on a pillow on the floor next to the couch.
