The next day.....

Raph woke up to find Leo and Chalice in the living room, sleeping.

Raph: Did they snuck out again?

Raph rubs his eyes.

Raph: I'll ask them when they wake up.....

A bit later, Chalice and Leo was about to go out until they heard a noise.

Chalice: What was that?

Leo: I'm not sure.

Then, they turned around to find Raph behind them.

Chalice and Leo: AH!

Raph: Where were you two last night?

Leo: Um.....we didn't sneak out last night. Right, Chalice?

Chalice: Yeah, we didn't sneak out last night. No, we didn't......(nervously laughs)

Raph narrows his eyes and looks at Leo.

Raph: Are being a bad influence on Chalice?

Leo: Of course not!

Chalice: Leo.....we have to come clean....please.....

Leo: (sighs) Alright, fine. Me and Chalice snuck out last night to wander around the city, looking for any danger.

Chalice: But so far, we didn't find any.

Raph: I know you're leader and all but you can't just sneak out at night alone.

Chalice: Leo wasn't alone. I was with him every night. Helping him.

Leo:.......

Raph: Stay out of this, Chalice. It's between me and Leo.

Chalice: (scoffs) I'm literally a part of this conversation. How am I not involved?

Raph: 'Cause this isn't about you.....

Chalice: ? What?

Raph: It's about Leo. Ever since the Kraang invasion, I don't trust him going out alone anymore! He literally almost died in the prison dimension! He was lucky that Mikey saved him by opening a portal with his hands!

Raph is nearly in tears and Chalice looks at Leo in shock.

Chalice: Y-you.....almost died?

Leo:......

Chalice: I thought you almost sacrificed yourself!

Leo:......I almost did.....but.....

Chalice: I can't believe you left that part out.....

Leo:.......

Chalice looks at Raph.

Chalice: I'll leave you two alone.

Raph: Chalice.

Chalice: Yeah?

Raph: I'm sorry.

Chalice: It's okay.

Later, Chalice told the others about what happened.

Mikey: I can't believe Leo.....he could've gotten himself killed.....

Donnie: And Chalice.... he went with you, out of all people.....he shouldn't be going out alone in the first place.

Mugman: He could've been badly hurt.....

Cuphead:.....or worse....

Chalice: Yeah.

Then, they heard Raph and Leo arguing.

Cuphead: What in the heck are they fighting about?

Mugman: And it's really loud.

Mikey's eyes started to tear up.

Mugman: Mikey? Are you okay?

Mikey: W-why.....

Donnie holds his little brother close to him.

Donnie: It's okay, Mikey.

Cuphead: Is he okay?

Donnie: This happens a few times a week.....they aren't usually like this.....

Cuphead: Ever since about what happened?

Donnie: Yeah.....

A while later, Mikey and Donnie are sleeping close to each other while Mikey wears headphones.

Mugman sleeps on a beanbag while Chalice sleeps in the chair. Cuphead remains awake.

Cuphead: (sigh)

Cuphead walks out of the living room to find Raph and Leo in a different room. He walks along the hallway and found the two in the gaming room, talking and playing a video game. He peaks through the curtains.

Raph: Hah! Beat you again, Leo!

Leo: Aww, man.....

Raph: Don't worry, you'll beat me next time.

Leo:......

Raph: Hey, Leo?

Leo: Yeah, Raph?

Raph: I'm sorry I didn't trust you.....

Leo: It's okay....I knew you were trying to protect me. Next time, I won't go out alone.

Raph: You better.

Both: (laughing)

Cuphead smiles softly and was about to walk away but tripped on something.

Cuphead: (whispers) Crap.

Raph and Leo heard a thud and went out in the hallway to find Cuphead on the floor.

Raph: Cups? What are you doing on the floor?

Leo: And why were you outside of the gaming room?

Cuphead stood up on his feet and faces him.

Cuphead: Well....I was gonna check on you guys.....but I guess you guys stopped arguing.

Raph: We apologized, like....5 hours ago.

Cuphead: Really? What time is it?

Leo checks his phone.

Leo: 5pm?! That long?

Raph: I guess so.

Leo: Anyway, where are the others?

Cuphead: They're in the living room, sleeping.

Raph: Oh, good.

Later, they all ate pizza in the living room and talked.

Mugman: That was quite a day.

Cuphead: Yep.

Mugman looks at Donnie and turns back to his brother.

Mugman: Y'know what I was thinking? I'll forgive Donnie tomorrow. Just don't tell him, okay?

Cuphead: Okay, bro.
