Only a couple minutes had passed after Issei had accepted Riser's challenge to a rating game. By this time, Riser had left, and Issei was speaking with Rias and Grafia. Rias' peerage and Issei's warriors were standing on the opposite sides of the room in awkward silence.
Grafia: I will inform Lady Rias' family of the challenge. Riser would most likely be doing the same not long from now. Though I must ask, how much time you want before the game?
Rias: I think ten days is good enough for our purposes.
She looks to Issei to see his opinion. Issei looks back at her and nods.
Issei: Yes, ten days is sufficient.
Grafia: Very well. I will let Sirsechs know.
She teleports away. Issei then turns to sit on the couch with his group behind him.
Issei: Now, first order of business. Where will the location of our training be.
Rias sits on the opposing couch.
Rias: I don't know how much training they need Issei.
Issei: They don't need any. One of us alone could take on twenty of Riser's peerage. It's Matsuda that requires training. But I also thought that you and your peerage could use these ten days too. For future battles.
Rias: Hmm, I have to agree. As much as I hate to admit it, if we were the ones fighting Riser as we are now, we wouldn't stand a chance.
Issei: Unfortunately, you're correct. But, we can change that. My warriors, along with myself, will be training each and every one of you to be the best you can be in a short time. Let me introduce them, in a way you can understand best. Let's say they were a peerage, first would be Claire Voyant. She would be my bishop, due to her expertise in blood, poison, and hellfire magic. She will be working with the magic users in the room. My knights would be Asta, and Akame. They have shown that they are experts with lightsabers, and that translates to all swords. Kiba and Matsuda, you two will train under them the most. However, Matsuda will also be training with Koneko and Raynare under Kefla and Baki, my "rooks". They have strength that can level entire mountain ranges and expertise in over 200 different martial arts disciplines. Now, Tiamat and I will be checking on each group from time to time and observe your progress. Tiamat would also be considered my queen given her proficiency in all aspects.
Rias: W-wait, you mean, the Tiamat?
Tiamat: Yes. You don't have to be human to be force-sensitive. Issei taught me that. Do you have a location for this training?
Rias: Yes. My family has a summer home up in the mountains. A wide open space would be perfect for the training.
Issei: Excellent! Everyone, pack your things tonight and get a good nights rest. We will meet at my home, and begin the training at dawn.
Akeno: Doesn't the training start at the mountain?
Issei: You can never begin to improve too early. The hike to the mountain, and up the mountain will be a part of what I have in mind.
Kiba: Makes sense.
Issei: Glad you agree. It's getting late, your rest will be important to a productive first day.
Everyone: Yes sir!
Time Skip
Matsuda: How tall is this mountain!?
Matsuda was huffing and puffing most of the way up. The equipment that Issei used to increase the intensity of the training was wearing him down more than the others.
