May your so called Goddess Hera blessed upon you"
•~°~°•...•°~°~•HERA watched the ripples Peter was making on the water as he row the boat they stole. He looked above and saw the rigid trees around them.
"They're so still" Said Lucy as she was looking to the trees. Trumpkin looked at her and glances at the trees with a confused face.
"They're trees. What'd you expect?" he said.
"They used to dance. Right, Hera?" Asked Lucy before looking back at Hera who was somberly playing with the water.
"They do. They'll sway with glee as the fauns plays music, and the dryads would sing the songs I taught them..." Said Hera with a nostalgic look before sighing and looked at trumpkin who was looking now at her—more like staring.
"By now Dryads and Naiads should be welcoming us and waving at us" Added Hera. Trumpkin looked away and sigh.
"Wasn't long after you left that the Telmarines invaded. Those who survived retreated to the woods. And the trees, they retreated so deep into themselves that they haven't been heard from since" Said the dwarf. Hera frowned.
"I knew I didn't like that King Cabad any bit. he looked Greedy for a poor King. and he had the audacity to ask for my hand" Hissed Hera then scoffed angrily while Lucy held her arm in comfort.
"the King Invaded Narnia was named Caspian. I don't know who that is" said Trumpkin. Hera snorted.
"maybe his son or his grandson, then" answered Hera.
"I don't Understand. How could Aslan have let this happen?" Lucy said in disbelief.
"Aslan?" The dwarf asked and scoff.
"Thought he abandoned us when you lot did" Said Trumpkin.
"We didn't mean to leave, you know" Said Peter.
"Makes no difference now, does it" answered the dwarf.
"It's about fate. it was our destiny to go back. We don't have a hold of it. Everything that happens in Narnia, happens for a reason" Hera muttered and looked back at the water she was playing with and continue to softly sway her hands on the water.
"Get us to Narnians and it will" said Peter.
Hera started to hum in low voice as she continue to play. Her humming grew louder. Susan smiled to Hera as the latter continue to hum the song with her mellow soft voice in a silence that surrounds the great river.
"that's one of Narnian lullabies." said trumpkin.
"I taught this song to a Dryad once, then they just like it so much that they continue to sing it for years" said Hera.
