"Where's Lucy?" Hera look around.

"I'll wake the others" She nodded as  he let her hands go before checking the others. Hera kneeled down and shake her brother's shoulder.

"Harry? Harry, wake up" she said. Harry stirred before opening his eyes. Hera's eyes roam to the trees on and then her eyes caught something on the sand.

Huge footprints.

Dread crept in Hera's heart.

"Ed. Ed, wake up." She heard Caspian trying wake Edmund.

"Caspian" she called.

"What is it?" he asked. her eyes locked on Lucy's empty space. the footprints never got too far to the other parties, it went to Gael but they all stopped at Lucy's.

"Look..." she said. she stood in her feet and her sight followed the footprints and saw that the the footprints did not stray, they entered and left in the same way.

"Hera?"

she grabbed her sword and ran towards the forest.

"Hera!"

In the dim morning twilight, before the sun had risen, a sense of danger loomed. Footsteps imprinted themselves upon the soft sands, though no figures could be seen. Whispers drifted through the air, low and unsettling.

"Seems they brought a pig," rasped a hoarse voice.

"This one, it's female," another whispered, indicating a slumbering Lucy.

"So is this one," replied a different voice, sounding closer.

"This one reads," murmured another, as Lucy's book floated briefly into the air, opening and closing by itself.

A sharp gasp cut through the silence, and all went still. Hidden figures waited, observing as a woman sat up and began to walk away from their resting place. They watched as one of her male companions stirred, raising his head to follow her. Then, in the tense quiet, the decision was made.

"Let's take her," a voice commanded.

In an instant, Lucy was seized, a rough hand clamping over her mouth before she could scream. She struggled, thrashing in vain against her invisible captors as they lifted her from the ground, carrying her swiftly toward the darkened woods. Desperately, she glanced around, hoping one of her friends might see and save her—but it all happened too fast. Shadows closed in as she was spirited away.

After a relentless struggle, the beings finally stopped, setting her down on a patch of soft grass before disappearing into the unseen. Lucy scrambled back, her heart racing, as she scanned the empty air, feeling their presence even if she couldn't see them.

Breathing hard, she stood and reached for her dagger, raising it defensively. But before she could react, it was knocked from her hand. She lunged for it, only to be shoved backward, landing on the grass again.
