I wake up gasping for air.
I try to move, but my body is chained to the floor.
Oh shit! Oh shit! I'm in Hell!
I lay my head against the clay wall and brush my hands through the hair on my head that is matted down from sweat.
My heart races in fear. Lucifer is out of his cage, he can torture me himself.
I have a feeling it's going to be a lot worse than Asher's punishment.
Asher.
I want him to love me as much as I love him.
Right now I want him to save me. If he saves me, I'll pretend it never happened and we can go back to the way things used to be.
But I can't just ignore it. I can't ignore the fact that I'm in love with someone who will never love me the way I love him. Its hopeless. We are hopeless.
Speaking of hopeless, lets go back to the situation I'm in right now.
The wooden door slowly creaks open.
My heart rate picks up and I thrash around in my chains.
Lucifer's head pops out.
"Hey Rose, it's just been forever, hasn't it?" he says.
I try to get out. I constantly pull at the chains. I scream bloody murder.
"Haven't you missed me?'" he asks stepping close to me.
"No," I spit. I can't let him see I'm scared.
He bends down and grabs my chin.
His hand scorches my skin.
"Agh! Please! Stop! Please!" I scream in agony.
The pain is excruciating! Every fiber of my being writhes in pain. I shriek spasm in pain. I feel like I'm going to die!
Let go! Let go! Just fucking let go!
Black dots dance in my vision.
He lets go and I smell burned flesh. My flesh.
Tears rush down my dirt stained cheeks and burn as they hit my injury.
Lucifer leans his head forward and gives me a wet and nauseating kiss on my lips.
"You are mine, Rose. Not Asher's. You will be my queen, the queen of Hell," he says giving me a possessive smile.
Disgusting!
"You see Rose, that was a small (and I mean small) example of what I'm going to do to you if you don't give me your consent."
What is wrong with you?
Lucifer looks around.
"Rosie, I'm surprised, where's Asher?" Lucifer asks in feigned melancholy.
I refuse to answer.
Lucifer looks me directly in the eye.
"That's good, no Asher. This makes my job loads easier!"
Lucifer grabs a weapon in the corner that I did not notice.
It's the sword from my dream! Is it the... Michael Sword?
Lucifer points it at my leg.
"Don't you love this sword, Rose? You should, you helped activate it!" Lucifer says giving me a sly smile.
He rests the tip on my left leg.
Oh gosh! Please don't stab me!
Lucifer raises it up to lodge it in my leg, but Asher instantaneously appears behind him.
My eyes widen, but Asher outs a finger to his lips.
"Rose, give me the consent!" Lucifer screams.
I smirk.
"No."
Lucifer rolls his eyes.
"I'll get it eventually, and Asher," my eyes widen in horror as Lucifer turns to face Asher," do you really think I'm that stupid?"
Lucifer flings Asher against the wall.
Asher coughs and then replies.
"Yes, I really do."
Wrong answer, I scream at him through my thoughts.
Anoplia suddenly appears behind Lucifer.
"Bet you weren't expecting this!" she screams.
She pulls him by his Gandalf beard and
hurls him the opposite direction of Asher.Asher runs to me.
"Asher-" I start, but he cuts me off my prying the chains off my body with screams.
Asher shrieks in pain.
What is on those chains?
As soon as he's done, he grabs my body and hoists me up on his shoulder.
I know he's going to do that demon voodoo thing where he snaps his fingers and we're magically in a different place.
Then I realize, Anoplia is still fighting!
"Asher, we can't let Anoplia die!" I yell to him.
He shakes his head.
"It's either you or her. I lost you once, I'm not losing you again!"
Asher snaps his fingers and I'm in a hospital room.
The room is small and white. A tiny bed is in the center and a large heart monitor.
Asher stands in front of the bed, catching his breath.
"Rose I love you I'm sorry-" but he doesn't get to finish. My body decides it's a good time to pass out.
I start to feel dizzy as the ground rushes up to meet my head.
