Song: "The Ghost of You"- My Chemical Romance

Asher and I finally find Peter in the conference room after miles of walking.

I burst through the door out of breath and tired.

"Peter!" I wheeze. I put my arms in my knees end take deep breaths.

Peter looks like he was going to address all the angels sitting around him. His eyes are rolling and his arms are crossed over his body.

"Do you need a moment, Rose?"

I shake my head and cough.

"N-no," I let out a mass eruption of coughs.

Asher steps in front of me.

"She's okay," he informs everyone.

I finally regain my stature after fits of coughs.

I really need to lay off the potato chips!

"Peter, I've made my decision," I announce.

He raises his eyebrows and uncrosses his arms.

"And what would that be?" he challenges.

"We're going to war with Hell," I say and take a deep breath to prepare for all the arguing that's going to come from that statement.

No one speaks.  The room is dead silent.

"Do you really think Heaven will actually consider what you're doing?" Peter lets out a fit of laughter.

I bite the inside of my cheek. I can do this, I can convince them.

"They have my brother," I reason.

Peter sighs and runs a hand through his hair. He closes his eyes for a second, trying to come up with a way to shut me down.

"I understand that they have your brother, but I don't want to risk the lives of the Angels here. We still haven't found God, and there're tons of  Angels still looking," he says with a small sympathetic smile.

Lucifer killed my parents! He has my brother! He has taken away everything that makes me me except Asher!

Peter's God is gone, he left him!

"Rose, have you ever had your mom tell you when you're fighting with your brother that if you ignore him he'll stop? That's what we have to do. Lucifer will stop."

I let out a frustrating grunt and lick my lips.

"You don't under-" I start.

"Yes I do," Peter says. "I see how hurt you are by your parents death. God will solve all of these problems when he comes-"

"Your God is dead!" I scream. Tears of pain and sadness pool at my eyes. My breath feels like it's suffocating me and I start to hyperventilate.

The room is dead silent once again. I look at Peter and he stares at the floor with a hard expression.

What have I done? I don't know for sure that God is dead, I might have ruined their lives. They could give up all hope.

"Rose," Asher whispers next to my left ear. His hot breath on my ear brings me back to reality. He lays a hand on my shoulder.

I shake off his hand and step forward to Peter.

"We're having war with Hell, whether you like it or not," I say with assertive voice.

"We can't-" Peter pleads.

"I'm in charge! God put me in this spot for a reason. We will wage war on Hell. Starting in one month."

I turn around and walk towards the door.

Voices of confusion brush past me as I walk towards the exit.

"One month? That's impossible!" One Angel calls out.

"She's going to be a tyrant!"

I take a deep breath as I leave the room.

I will have my brother back, no matter what I have to do.
