Check out this amazing song above! It's definitely a Rasher (Rose + Asher) song . BANKS- Drowning! I changed the ending of the last chapter in case your confused. Go back and read it!
----------
When I wake up, saying things are awkward is an understatement.

Asher is already gone. I get up, retrieve my shirt and go change.

Once I emerge from my room, I smell bacon!

Asher couldn't have!

I run to the kitchen to see Asher gobbling down bacon and Peter whistling while making a new batch.

I pull my hair back into a ponytail as I sit down, Asher carefully watches me.

His eyes burn a hole on the skin he gazes on. I blush.

"Hi," I mumble.

Asher smiles.

"Hey."

The greetings go on for a while, and I almost asked how he slept.

Like I said, awkward.

"So...," Peter says breaking our dull chitchat.

I whip my head around to face him.

"You're going to start your training today!" Peter says with unnecessary enthusiasm.

I'm not amused.

"Why do we have to do this?" I ask.

Peter looks at me like I've grown a third hand.

"First of all, Lucifer or Satan or whatever you prefer, is after your permission to march his way up to Heaven and make my life a living hell. Literally. You are the key to all that, so we need to train you in case of surprise demon kidnappings. And Asher is not training, he's leading the training."

What?

"What? Why is he leading it?" I demand.

Visions of Asher flipping me over dance in my head.

"I thought I made that pretty clear," Peter pauses to choose his words very carefully. "That's like, the only reason we need him here. He's going to train our angels the way he was hand trained by Lucifer."

Asher doesn't look surprised.

"Okay, let's hop to it!" Asher says with fake enthusiasm as he throws his napkin down on the table.
----------
Peter escorts Asher and me to the gigantic castle that I once was in.

The doors are swung open and I make my way down the brightly illuminated hallway.

The hallway suddenly turns into a gigantic room.

I see a large blue mat. Weapons are in either side of the wall. Two thrones are on the right side of me.

I see a blinding light and have to cover my eyes.

Then, I realize, it's God!

"Rose White, Asher Dorian, you know why you are here; right?"

I nod, so does Asher.

"I want to see what you can do," God says and smirks.

What does that mean?

"Release the demons!" God screams.

I whip my head around to meet Asher's hardened eyes.

He roughly grabs my arm and and speaks to me harshly.

"I'm sorry you have to see this, I never wanted you to see this."

See what?

A large door, that I didn't know was there on the left side of the wall opens and about fifty demons poor out.

I gasp.

I go to the wall to grab a knife.

Asher whips out two blades.

Where did he get those? You know what, I don't want to know!

The demons come at him, but he easily slits most of there throats.

Watching him is almost terrifying.

He kills them at lightening speed.

He flips them over and stabs their hearts.

Oh my gosh!

Should I help him?

He turns around to look at me.

"No," he says wheezing.

Asher's body is dripping with blood.

I need to do something!

Oh fuck it!

I run into battle and try to to stab at the demons' arms.

Asher runs towards me and pushes me back.

I stable backwards.

I watch in shock as he twists a demon's arm backwards and then snaps it's neck.

After the last is killed Asher walks towards God, bleeding and tired.

"Was that all?" Asher says glaring at God.

I cannot see God because his light is blinding, but I hear a condescending tone.

"Was that the best you could do?"

Asher's eyes widen and he scoffs.

And with that, Asher pushes his body forward with his knife to pounce on God.
