"I need to go, meet up with Luke".

"What?".

"I have to go".

"It's late, don't you think?".

"I'll be okay Damien".And he just nod."Damien".

He sighed letting go, I smiled and went back to the bedroom putting on dungarees a long sleeve t-shirt and sneakers, he did tear off the t-shirt I was wearing. I got out and found him just sitting in the couch, watching the door, he does freak me out at times, I'm not going to lie. I took my phone and my bag, I sent Luke a text telling him I'm coming.

I have to use the subway. No one will notice me in the subway and even if they do, they will not call the news on me and I know for a fact, only a few reporters would come to the subway even if they are called for the hottest story. I got out closing the door. I stood outside the door for a few seconds thinking about everything, I can't not think about it, I wanna scream and punch things but if I scream, Damien will freak out. I tied my shoelaces, taking a deep breath.

I need to think about something else, Damien brought back all the feelings, I took out my phone watching the news and Lina 'acting editor in chief' that is still making me frown, the fact that Zondi left without saying a word isn't shocking really but the fact that Lina got the position. How? Yes, she's good at what she does but come on. If I didn't get suspended I definitely would be acting editor in chief.

'The Sun has been going through a lot lately, first the best reporter you have, Olwethu Nkosi got suspended and now your editor in chief is gone, without even saying a word'.

'Those are speculations and you should put it out in the public as they are speculations unless of course you have proof to support your claims, Zondi's decision was taken by him, personally, he has personal things to deal with

And as for Olwethu Nkosi, she took a decision that led her here, we as The Sun chooses no sides, we are only on the side of the truth and to get the truth we need to get both sides of the story'.

'Are you saying you don't know the truth yet? That the Hangman needs to come forward before you can know the truth?'.

'That is not what I said, I just said, there's always two sides to every story'.

'And do you have anything to say about Ms Nkosi getting arrested?'.

'No, I'm sure Ms Nkosi will release a statement when she's ready'.

I got out and started walking rolling my eyes to the back of my head but also impressed by how she answered that, she didn't tarnish my name any further. I was gonna go over at her house and beat her up. I now have to release a statement, I should probably create a social media account and release a statement, fuck.

'And do you believe she had anything to do with what the claims are saying?'.

'I cannot answer that question but I'm sure the police were never gonna let her go, if they believed or if they had evidence saying she did'.

'What about...'.

And Lina's phone rang, she looked down at it.'Thank you for having me, I'm sorry but I have to go'.

'But...'.

And she stood up making me stop and look around, she's definitely not coming here and nobody seems to know me here and I'm pretty sure, Damien did not call her, I didn't even tell him I'll use the subway because he would have insisted on walking me to Luke's front door and that would have made it even more awkward.

Two young girls pointed at me with their heads, they then started whispering showing the rest of their friends, they all looked up at me and the found me just staring at them. They went back to the gossiping, they are too young to even care about calling the news on me, they might take my pictures and videos and post them online but that's all they are capable of doing.
