Once again Luke pushed Olwethu against the wall only to be pulled back by two men, he turned around looking up at them and he cussed. They are big, very big. One of them threw Olwethu on their shoulder nodding at the second one, he smiled nodding back and raising up his knuckles facing Luke who cussed again, he has to fight him to get to him then he'll have to fight him too to get Olwethu back?.
He flew to the door opening it with his back, he got up groaning, he rolled out of the way saving himself from the man's boot. He got up on his feet and seriously he has had enough of getting his ass kicked by Amberemere goons. He watched the man walking up to him, he rolled to the floor picking up the broken door pieces and he hit him on the head before taking a chair, closed it up and hit the man on the groin.
He screamed falling on the floor and he will be out for the next hour, he needs to have find Olwethu by then. He groaned dragging his leg, what do they want with Olwethu? They already have Damien, what do they want with him? He doesn't even like Damien, well, he didn't like him, he only liked him a week ago. He should have never liked him.
Damien punched a hole through the wall then kicked it and he walked through it.
"If I die here my mother is going to kill me".
"Shut up".
"It's my first day and we're already shooting people? Fuck this".
"Scott, shut it".
Scott looked over the table."Fuck, he's coming".
Everyone got up and started shooting at Damien, a few bullets hit him and he ducked the rest, hiding behind a wall, Scott just stood there not even shooting.
"We shot him, more than thrice, how is he still up?".
"He is a robot, Scott, now shut it".
"I will shoot your friend if he doesn't...".
Damien pulled him by the neck punching him on the chest killing him, Scott looked up and the rest of the guards attacked Damien. Scott just sat there frozen and Damien killed everyone but Scott who just threw his hands in the air, Damien bent over reaching down and Scott started crying. Damien picked up a gun and walked away, Scott opened his eyes and ran away.
"3, guess what I have? Come to the rooftop or I will give her wings".
Damien shot the speaker as if that will help, they have Olwethu, he looked around the building, it's not a big building but he is alone, he won't be able to run all the way up then down. He cussed and he ran to the stairs only to hit Luke and sent him to his ass.
"What the fuck Damien? Damien, man a I glad to see you, they took Olwethu".
"I know, she's in the rooftop, I'm going up".
"I'm coming with you".
Damien looked up at the steps then Luke, he could use his help, he nod giving him the gun, Luke looked down at it and he actually laughed. This is fate, his gun? Again? If he loses it again then he won't find it again, he better hold onto it and make sure he does not get abducted again. Damien nod at him and they ran up, Damien leading the way. Luke checked the bullets and he cocked his gun.
Damien moved his eyes from one man to the other, he can't take all of them, they can't take all of them, at once. They are screwed, if they try something and Olwethu gets hurt again, he will die and if they try to fight Olwethu will get hurt and her stitches will start bleeding again, Luke put his gun away shaking his head, he needs a clear shot, he needs to make sure if he takes a shot, he takes at least four of them down.
Dying here is not an option, Owami is pregnant and engaged, they need to go to her wedding, they need to see that baby grow up. Damien just nod and Luke took a deep breath also nodding, Damien walked out and Kim laughed pressing a gun on Olwethu's head making her wince.
"You shouldn't have come out, Damien, they will kill you".
"Are you okay?".
"Yes, you shouldn't be here, are you okay? I was so scared when we couldn't find you, I thought...".
Kim pressed his gun harder and Olwethu stopped talking, closing her eyes, Damien took a step forward and Kim just looked at him, he stopped. Kim pushed Olwethu to his men gun still pointed at her, Luke sighed, it's still not good enough, Olwethu is hurt. Fuck.
"Welcome home".
"Home?".
"This is your home Damien, this will always be your home, you and your siblings, now let's all take a deep breath and go back to the medical room and all this will be forgotten".
"Damien, no".
Damien looked up at Olwethu then Kim, he can save her, he has to save her, Kim won't shoot her, she's the only thing keeping him alive, Luke will shoot the second he moves and he trusts Luke's aim. He needs to get Olwethu out of here, she needs to go home to her family, he got her into this he needs to get her out of it. He took another step forward and Luke flew to the floor.
He groaned getting up, Damien just looked at him and sighed, seriously Luke? They pointed at him with his own gun and he put his hands up. Kim smiled, Luke looked up at Olwethu who looks happy to see him rather than disappointed.
"I will shoot him, she will watch him bleed out then I will skin her alive and you will watch each and every second of it".
Damien nod."I will go with you, let them go first".
"Not without you Damien".
One of the bodyguards hit her on the ribs she fell on her knee gasping for air, also in pain making Damien even more mad. She got up looking at the man, he smiled and pulled her back to him by the back of her neck and she just twisted his arm taking his gun and shot him on the knee.
Damien flew to two men sending them flying and Luke punched one man on the throat also taking his gun and shot him on the knee too, Olwethu picked up another gun and she marched up to Kim pointing it at his head, pissed. Luke took a deep breath, if she shoots him, he will die, she will live with the guilt for the rest of her life and he will never go to jail for everything he has done.
"3! Do you want to see your family?".Damien stopped, Kim smiled."If she's shoots me, you will never see them again".
"Olwethu, put it down".
"He's lying Damien".
Luke looked up at Damien who looks ready to attack Olwethu and he pointed his gun at him."Damien, calm down, Olwethu put it down".
Olwethu just kept it pointed at Kim who looked up at Damien."Only I know where your family is".
"He is lying Damien".
"Olwethu put it down!".
And they all started arguing before Damien's eye lit up and a video started playing, his wife getting out of the house carrying a baby, their baby, his father and his mother laughing and two more women got out of the house carrying food, his sisters. We all just stood there watching, they all sat down around the table eating and laughing, his wife gave him a kiss then their baby.
Damien dropped the gun and got down on his knees, Kim smiled and Olwethu just stood there watching the video too, Luke took a deep breath holstering his gun, he needs to keep it safe and Kim punched Olwethu again on the stomach, she screamed falling down on her knees and he got down besides her taking the gun pointing it at her head, her wound started bleeding again.
Luke tried moving forward but Damien turned around his hand on his neck and he lifted him up, Luke gasped for air hitting Damien's hand. Olwethu turned around sleeping on her stomach and she crawled to them leaving a trail of blood Kim following behind with a smile. She held Damien's leg, he just looked down at her, his hand still on Luke's neck.
"Let him go, Damien, please".
And a gunshot followed.
