The moment I thought my mind was playing tricks on me, I instantly felt tired. I had a headache. But I confidently entered the classroom like I knew where I'm going. I took a seat at one of the desks in the back. I realize Devon sits right in front of me in this class. At least he's in front and I'm behind him.

After the final bell rang, our Algebra teacher, Mr. Collins greets us and starts writing stuff on the board. For another split second, I start to see people in the corner of my eye. But maybe it's just my imagination. I look back at Mr. Collins as he explains what the plan is but I see something in the window at the corner of my eye, again. Second glance I see a man in all black with their hood up, half of their face showing looking at me in the window. I raised my hand to get Mr. Collin's attention and pointed to the window.

"Um, t-there's someone in the window." I stutter and everyone's eyes are on the window then at me. Mr. Collins stared at the window but no one was there. "I don't see anyone." Mr. Collins looks at me confused. I look back at the window to see if my eyes are tricking me again, but no one. Was I going crazy? Why was I starting to imagine things that aren't there? Or was someone actually there? I thought I was going crazy at the moment but I tried not to think so much. I also tried not to look at the window.

After we got our assignments, I sat back at my desk with a pencil in my hand and my work in the other. My eyes started to get sore after I stared at my workbook. I start to get bored and drowsy after a while. Suddenly I feel myself drifting off to sleep.

A minute passed after I fell asleep. I woke myself up and squinted at the clock above the door. I was half way through already. All my work was turned in and I felt like I just woke up from the dead, again. I felt strange, but relieved that I'm half- way through the day. I keep thinking I see someone outside. But I am just sure I am just tired. I was out of it.

Now it was lunch time. The hour where I could meet up with Zoe and a few friends. I never realized but the school's cafeteria is so big. Just like the gymnasium but smaller. The lunch room had fifteen tables with stools where we could sit. There were also benches near the window with three girls sitting on it talking. Zoe, my friend Chloe, Jazmine, and I sat at a nearby table in the back of the cafeteria, where no one would bother us.

As I took out my lunch, I took a few bites of my peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and my friend Chloe stared at my left arm.

"Uh Leah? Your arm is bleeding? I looked down at my arm on my lap and spotted a few drops of blood. I started freaking out in my head. I took my three fingers to study the blood and felt blood dripping from my nose.

"Oh my gosh, how did this happen?" Out of nowhere I felt burning pain in my left arm where the brace is. Zoe notices I was in pain and tries to comfort me. "I think I should take you to the nurse." Zoe carefully guides me out of the cafeteria where no one saw leave. Chloe picks up my lunch and puts my leftovers in my lunch bag for me to carry.

"Thanks for helping me, Zoe." I thank her and she nods her head. "No problem, just get better already. I'll see you at gym class." With that Zoe walks away. I entered the nurse's office and I saw my aunt, Sofia. My aunt Sofia had been the school's nurse for a year now. She noticed me and came over to me to wrap her arms around me. "Hi aunt Sofia, I'm happy to see you." She hugs me again and we chat for a bit. "It's good to see you too Leah, what happened to your arm?'' Aunt Sofia carefully took off the brace and picked up my hand.

"I sprained it last year, I don't remember much but I tripped over a chair." Aunt Sofia raises her eyebrows and continues to put ice on my arm. "Really? You don't remember? Was it that long ago?" I shrugged my shoulders. She notices blood dripping from my nose so she hands me a tissue. "Here take this with you, you'll need it." Sofia hands me a bottle of hand sanitizer with a small container of tissues.

Aunt Sofia gives me a new arm brace to go. I stayed to continue our conversation until the bell rang for the sixth period. I had to go to physical education. I had to go to the girl's locker room. On my way in the hallway I see one of my friends, Kyla Jackson walking towards me with my locket that I had forgotten from the cafeteria. "Hey, is this yours? Zoe says she saw you wearing it earlier." I grab the locket carefully out of her hands and thank her. "Yes, thank you. I must have left it by accident." Kyla nods and leads me to the girl's locker room.

We walk in and see a bunch of girls exiting the room. Zoe was sitting on a bench with her cell phone in her hands, probably waiting for me. I walk up to her and sit beside her with my arm on my lap.

"Hey Leah, how's your arm?" As she gently rested her hand on my shoulder. "Yeah, my arm's fine. And sometimes I just have a bloody nose randomly." I told her. She still seemed concerned about me but I told her not to worry. Zoe stood up and waited for me to tie my shoes. "Zoe, you can go. I'll be right behind you." She nods and walks to the door. "Alright, see ya then."

Now I was alone. I took a deep breath and finished tying my other shoe. Gym class had started already but something was keeping me back as I was trying to leave the room. But I just kept going. Just as I was about to close the locker room door, I saw footsteps coming towards me. I thought I was hearing things until I felt someone put their hand over my mouth. I couldn't see who it was but they pulled out a gun to my head, and I passed out.
