The day went by very fast. I felt relieved I had been dreaming the whole time. I go to meet up with Zoe at her locker. She opened her locker and we made eye contact. She immediately hugged me and handed me a blindfold. "Uh, why'd you give this to me?" Zoe grabbed my wrist.
"Come, I have a surprise for you!" I tie the blindfold over my eyes and let Zoe guide me.
A little bit later Zoe rips off the blindfold. I open my eyes to see that I'm at the parking lot of the school. "I know your birthday isn't until tomorrow, but this is an early birthday gift. Consider this a gift from me." In front of me I see a silver motorcycle with a black helmet on the seat. I turned to Zoe in shock. I wrap Zoe in a big hug and a warm smile.
"Zoe! You didn't have to do this. But this is so sweet! Thank you!" She gives me a small smile. "I hope you like it, I know this is so big and you deserve a lot more. And I don't ride motorcycles so this is a good pick for you." She hands me the keys for the motorcycle and I jump on top of it immediately. I power the switch with the keys and it started.
"Be careful Leah!"
I stick the helmet on the handles. I said goodbye to Zoe and drove away leading a gust of wind behind me.
Just before I drove to Ms. Juliana's garage with my motorcycle it spotted Ms. Juliana sitting on the porch of her house. I jumped off and run to Ms. Juliana who was screaming my name. We greet each other and she gives me a hug.
"Hi Leah, how was our day?" I scratched my arm and blinded. "It was good.'' Before I could say anything else, Ms. Juliana nudged me with a soft noise. "You should go inside, you have a visitor that just got here. I think it's your father." She winks.
I hesitated and ran inside the house in a rush ro see who my visitor was, so I threw my backpack against the hallway floor and hurried to the living room. Before I could see who my visitor was I hustled around the corner and took a deep breath.
I walked into the living room with excitement unexpectedly until I saw my father.
"Hey Dad, I......" I gasped. "No!!! This can't be!" I screamed. "DAD!!!!"
