Ao'nung's ears perked up, and his gaze was drawn to the entrance of their marui pod.
A large tumult began at the outskirts of their main village, causing his mother to abruptly stop and set the fruits aside for the time being.
They got up from their seats and took a step forward, visibly irritated.

The Metkayina clan has become extremely loud. They were yelling traditional lutes and blowing into horns to produce a variety of deep tones. Ronal set down her supplies and motioned for her son to follow her out to see what was going on. They only had to cast a fleeting glance up into the sky to realize they would be receiving visitors.
"Great...", Ao'nung mumbled under his breath. It didn't look like an overnight stay to him, but rather a long-term, if not permanent, visit.

He desperately wanted to run off, but he insisted on waiting and keeping an eye out for the Tsahìk.
That is, until they arrived at the large crowd that had gathered both on land and in the water to surround the now-sitting ikrans. Their massive wings created strong air waves, making it difficult for the clan members right next to them to remain still.

The shock seemed to have worn off, judging by the sudden silence when the strangers hopped off their bird-like creatures. Most Metkayina simply backed away in terror.
It irritated them that the other na'vi looked so different from what they were used to.
Their blue skin was darker, and their bright yellow eyes were like the sun piercing the iris. At least, in the boy's opinion.

Meanwhile, Rotxo was back by Ao'nung's side, following him when his fearless mind took over and he went up to the na'vi without hesitation; A family, he believed.
They greeted him politely, but the chief's son's ego seemed to be too big for him to return any respect. There was no reason to be formal with these strangers right now. Ao'nung had to adapt and learn from day one because the next man to become this clan's Olo'eyktan and step into Tonowari's shoes would be no one other than him.
And right now, the only thing that mattered was determining whether these na'vi were worth it and deserving of being taken in by his clan.

Ao'nung looked them over, his gaze darting from one na'vi to the next.
Further investigation revealed that the Metkayina boy couldn't stop laughing at their dainty tails attached to the back of their bodies.
"Are those supposed to be tails?" he asked jokingly, pulling on one and showing it to his friend. But Tsireya on the other hand just furiously demanded that they stop.

As a result, he flicked his tongue and let go of the tail while staring the taller of the two boys in the eyes.
"They're funny looking; let's keep 'em," he grinned, slowly walking around them in circles.
Of course, he noticed the other brother's enraged expression, but the arrival of Tonowari drew their attention away from him, causing them to shoot their heads in his direction.
