The Metkayina children were asked to show the new members the way to their marui pod, their new home from now on.
Ao'nung was in the front, leading everyone on their built net-system and looking back once in a while. Only to be met with those stupid, bright eyes of that boy again. They looked at each other for a quick moment before both of them furiously turned their heads.
"They already piss me off..", the teal na'vi briefly sighed out.

By the time they arrived at the pod, Ao'nung couldn't help but overhear his sister explaining a few things to the family. Mostly about her favorite part of living along the shores: the ocean.
She told them how incredibly mesmerizing it was to just let yourself get carried by the water while looking at all those beautiful plants around you.

"But I can't hold my breath for so long!", the youngest one, Tuktirey, also known as Tuk, claimed all while jumping around and having fun with the nets.
The girl smiled lovingly. "That's no problem. Rotxo, Ao'nung and I will teach you everything", she giggled and slightly patted the child's head.
"Right, Ao'nung?"

The boy stepped to the side to let the family in. "Do I have a choice..?"
Smiling, his sister just shook her head no and tucked a strand of her curly hair behind the ear.

The darker na'vi looked around with curiosity, placing their belongings and other gifts in the middle of the pod.
Of course it was different from what they were used to, but they'd simply have to.. well, get used to it.

"Thank you so much, really", Jake turned around to face the two teens standing at the entrance.
He told his children to thank them, which they did, more or less.
"You would've done the same for us", Tsireya said with a gorgeous smile.

"Oh, I'm not too sure about that..", Lo'ak suddenly muttered under his breath while looking directly into Ao'nung's eyes, now filled with anger.
Thereupon his older brother pushed him a little bit, with an intimidating glare spread out on his face. "Cut it out now, will you?", he spat out silently.
Lo'ak just looked at him confused and in disbelief, hissing out "Neteyam, are you serious?", before brushing it off again to not cause any more embarrassment.

It was obvious that the boy, apparently called Neteyam, lived his life with the constant goal of keeping up his "perfect big brother" role. Because of that, Ao'nung then inspected him a little closer.
Starting from Neteyam's head with those shoulder-length braids, down to the large neckpiece around his upper body.
When looking back up, Neteyam was also staring at him. Due to his now flushed cheeks, Ao'nung figured that the other one noticed him checking him out.

And even though Neteyam felt a little uncomfortable and perceived it as weird, the only emotion visible on his face was bitterness.
In order not to come across as weak, the darker na'vi kept up the intense eye contact that was going on at this point.

The only thing bringing the boys back to reality was Jake's firm voice telling his kids to go out and let the Metkayinas show them around.

Neteyam immediately shook his head out of confusion while blinking some water back into his eyes and shoving his siblings out of there.
Ao'nung on the other hand, thought this whole situation got more serious than he wanted it to be.

Sharing one last look, they shuffled their way out to the water, with Tsireya leading in front.
