A huge grin appeared on the Metkayina's face as soon as those words left Neteyam's lips. He drew the other into his arms quickly, hiding his face in the warrior's neck and feeling the heat rush to his cheeks. "Fuck..you really are a cute one, hm?" Ao'nung muffled onto the na'vi's skin, unintentionally tickling him.
Neteyam had to giggle at the soft sensation, before quickly pushing the other away when he suddenly began doing it on purpose. But after finally calming down, Ao'nung rose to his feet and drew the other with him, making sure that their hands stayed intertwined. "Let's not waste any more time, shall we?" he asked, a genuine smile on his face.

Instead of responding with words, the younger one simply nodded enthusiastically, his braids swinging up and down. His heart was pounding so fast that it was difficult for him to think clearly and ensure that grammatically correct sentences came out of his mouth. But, deep down, a warm and happy feeling spread out in his chest.

Without saying another word, Ao'nung continued to hurry to a place a bit further away from the village. Into the island's forest, to be more specific.
They trampled on stones, dirt, leaves, grass, and anything else that reminded Neteyam of his old home: the forest and, more importantly, his clan. The surroundings appeared familiar, but not exactly the same as they had back there, given the lack of color and magic this forest had to offer.
Almost as if they had already bonded, the boy in front of him could sense the warrior's unexpected saddening mood, but also that spark of comfort that he got by being here at the same time. It was like a piece of home that followed them and will always hold a special place in his heart.

Quickly shaking his head, Neteyam brushed up against a few of the massive leaves and plants as they rushed by, only to be stopped by Ao'nung a few moments later.
"We're here," he said to the warrior, watching as the other's eyes slowly widened the more he inspected the scenery around them. The boy took a few small steps forward while turning in unsteady circles, slightly parting his lips as he touched the long and string-like leaves from the nearby tree that were hanging down wherever he looked. He gasped slightly when he gazed at the purple beauty in front of him.

"Aside from the tree of souls in the water, this is the place where we reef na'vi are the closest to eywa," Ao'nung explained as he took small steps toward the other.
Neteyam was admiring his surroundings when he remembered something Neytiri had told him previously. "Is this a tree of voices?" he asked, returning his gaze to the Metkayina, a hopeful look on his face. "I think my parents mated under one of these".

Ao'nung only chuckled lightly at the warrior's reaction, but quickly changed to a pitying expression when he realized how pleased the younger one would be. "Unfortunately, no. But, because we can't really mate under water, my forefathers looked for a place on land where we could spiritually connect to eywa", the youngster exclaimed as he touched the bright plant and let it fall through his fingers.
"I see...", Neteyam just muttered before subconsciously doing the same thing. "This reminds me a lot of home".

Instead of becoming overly emotional, though, he simply smiled lightly and turned to look Aonung in the ocean blue eyes. They both knew what was about to happen and were more than prepared for it.
Without being able to wait any longer, the teal na'vi cupped Neteyam's face with his left hand and drew him into a surprisingly sweet and slow kiss. Meanwhile, his other hand was placed on the warrior's waist as he felt two strong arms wrapped around his neck, slightly dragging him down onto the flower-filled ground.

And even though they've always felt that tingling sensation in their lips as they collapsed onto each other in swift motions, it was completely different this time. Much more intimate, and with more passion.
Every single touch and wet spot felt like a pleasant explosion on their skin, that's how the two would describe it if they had to. Nothing compared to whatever they've felt before.

Ao'nung proceeded to move down to the younger one's neck, showering that area with lots and lots of kisses, some of which left a dark mark on his blue skin. While letting his fingertips tickle the other's sensitive chest, a sudden moan escaped Neteyam's trembling lips as he felt those sharp teeth digging into his flesh, followed by a sweet apology from the Metkayina's tongue once again.
Their bodies were getting hot and they could feel the heat rising inside of them; also visible as small beads of sweat, that were trickling down in sync.

As a result of his own actions, Neteyam noticed Ao'nung's tail rapidly flicking -or moving- from one side to the other, while the boy's heart for the life of eywa did not know how to calm down. Neither of their hearts did, actually.

"These sounds, Neteyam... please don't suppress them,", Ao'nung shakingly breathed out, almost begged, before connecting their lips for another quick kiss.

"I want to hear them.."

"..until the very end".
