"My ikran?", Neteyam asked with a perplexed expression spread out on his face, feeling his heart skip a beat at the other's curiosity about his former lifestyle in the forest. Of course, just as the ilus and skimwings are new to him, the ikrans are new to Ao'nung, as you would definitely not find any of them here at the reefs.
The older one just nodded enthusiastically with a genuine and sweet smile on his lips. "Let's first take your accessories and the coal off, though.. it's about time", he suggested, chuckling lightly at Neteyam's surprised face and quick reaction. It seems like he also totally forgot about it, which was a miracle with all that weight hanging around his neck and on top of his head.

Being very careful, but still trying to hurry up at the same time, they removed every single feather, pearl, and other accessory from the warrior's hair and placed it back into the basket before pulling the braids out of the bun again. Ao'nung then proceeded to slowly lift the heavy neck piece, whereupon he earned an insanely long sigh from the other's lips. "This feels great..", he muttered while stretching his arms and upper body due to the pleasant freedom his shoulders could experience again.
Ao'nung laughed, preparing a bowl with unfortunately cold water. "I'm sure it does", the na'vi snickered after letting his fingertips be surrounded by the cold sensation and moving them up to tingle Neteyam's soft skin. He started with the boy's cheeks, rubbing carefully to wash off the rest of the coal markings.

By the time Ao'nung finished cleaning the other, both of them already felt a lot calmer and more relaxed than before. The comforting silence, the sweet touch, their intense stare—all of these things let them get lost in the moment and forget their everyday problems as well as worries about the whole mating drama.
The reef na'vi put the bowl to the side after thoroughly washing his own hands, only to take Neteyam's original loincloth that they left here and hold it up right in front of his face. His lips turned into a mischievous grin as the warrior violently ripped it out of his hands with a huff. "Get out while I change", the younger one demanded with a slightly annoyed undertone, but Ao'nung just shook his head. Instead, he used his palm to gently push the other to the ground, looking back a few times to make sure that no one would come around the corner.

"Ao'nung, what are you doing?", Neteyam muttered while supporting his upper body with his arms and feeling the heat returning to his cheeks once again. He watched as the boy positioned himself right in between his own legs, slowly lowering his head to Neteyam's abdomen. "Shh..", Ao'nung silenced him before biting onto the thicker part of the clothing around his hips and starting to pull it down with his teeth. The warm breath on the warrior's skin tickled him in a pleasant way, but he tried to show little to no reaction to that.
At the same time, Ao'nung untied the string around the forest na'vi's tail before continuing to use his right hand to help pull the cloth down much further.

After placing the cloth on the net, he leaned forward to grab Neteyam's other one and brought it up to his hips. "Your skin is so beautiful..", Ao'nung whispered while kissing the boy's inner thigh up and down, slowly moving to his stomach before glancing into his face, only to see how desperate and red he looked. But the reef na'vi just quickly wrapped the loincloth around Neteyam's tail and waist and gave him a small peck on the lips. "Let's go".

Scoffing, the warrior accepted the helping hand and got back up to his feet with an annoyed expression plastering his face once again. He'd never admit it, but the fact that Ao'nung just stopped right there was, in his opinion, a little disappointing. Though Neteyam couldn't be mad at the other as he knew exactly how exciting meeting the ikrans was to him. And, to be honest, the younger one didn't blame him; they were pretty cool.
Not wasting any more time, Ao'nung grasped the warrior's hand and squeezed it tightly while nearly running to a free spot on the sand where the mountain banshees usually slept.
A quick glance up revealed that the creatures were flying random circles around the village, some larger than others.

"Wait a second", Neteyam demanded before using his voice to call his ikran with sounds and vocals he had learned back in the forest. It fascinated Ao'nung that the sounds were so different from the ones he used to call his ilu, but served the same purpose.
He was startled by the sudden landing of the huge creature right next to them, clapping its green-ish wings and swirling a small amount of sand through the air.
"This is Azra," the warrior exclaimed as he approached his banshee and gave her loving pats, eliciting cheerful sounds from her throat. Just then, Ao'nung slowly and carefully closed the gap between him and the two, amazed by the beauty of these creatures. The boy's curiosity was piqued, especially by this particular color scheme. He loved every shade of green, so this was more than exciting.

His blue eyes glistened under the light of the bright sun as Ao'nung lifted his arm to let her get familiar with his scent first. Neteyam chuckled lightly when she started to investigate the boy more. "Tamtam, Azra..", he calmed her just like his mother had taught him, smiling from ear to ear.

He thought about something for a quick second, but couldn't find any reason as to why it wouldn't work, so the warrior just straight up asked with a playful grin on his lips.

"Any desire to fly?"
