„His name's Xaze", Ao'nung mentioned at ease while giving his ilu a few pats on the head. The stars in the night sky brightened up the whole island, reflecting on the water surface and filling their eyes with beautiful shining dots.
Sitting on the footbridge by the ocean, Neteyam watched as the creature in front of him let out some cheerful sounds of happiness. It reminded him a lot of his own ikran.
"We basically grew up together", Ao'nung proceeded to tell the boy next to him while letting his legs swing on either side of his ilu's head. To say that Neteyam didn't adore this side of the Metkayina would be a lie, but he just couldn't get his head around why Ao'nung was acting like that now. It's like something in his head just clicked.
Compared to the first day, Ao'nung's behavior changed completely. He would need to ask him some time later.
Neteyam just chuckled lightly while turning his head down to their feet splashing in the water, listening to the faint sounds of the instruments in the back. They were far away from the clan at the moment.
Just as he was about to open his mouth and say something, a sudden idea flushed Ao'nung's mind before he abruptly got up from the wood again. "Want to learn how to ride?".
"What?", Neteyam asked, dumbfounded. "I can't get these accessories or the neckpiece wet, idiot". The boy moved his eyes away from the water to look directly into the mesmerizing blue ones of the other. Not risking to lose any chances, Ao'nung then continued his actions by softly grabbing Neteyam's chin and pulling it up a bit more. Very lightly, he brushed over the na'vi's parted lips with his thumb, sending pleasant shivers down the other's back.
Pulling him a tiny bit closer, Ao'nung inspected his face thoroughly, which led to a small smirk appearing on his own lips. It was amusing, in his opinion, to see Neteyam trying to suppress his redness.
"Don't worry", the future chief said, letting go of the boy's chin after gliding his fingertips on the soft skin for one last time. "We won't go diving yet; just sitting on him so you know how it feels will be enough for today", Ao'nung explained with a low voice.
After thinking for a few seconds, Neteyam couldn't help but agree. As much as he wanted the special clothes to stay in perfect shape, being on an ilu for the first time did sound quite convincing, admittedly. Plus, he would just see this as extra training for the future.
Nodding, Ao'nung quickly got on his creature's back before moving as close to the footbridge as possible and helping Neteyam down while being cautious not to accidentally wet the feathers. He made sure that Xaze felt alright and that the boy in front of him was sitting comfortably.
Even though the ilu wasn't wearing any gear built specifically for riding at the moment, they were able to keep themselves up and not accidentally slide down.
"This feels a lot different from sitting on an ikran, but.. not bad", Neteyam muttered out while petting the ilu with his right palm and grasping onto Ao'nung's thigh and knee, which were touching his own with his left hand. Because he surely wasn't used to this by now, he needed something to hold onto.
"Really?", the boy in the back asked with a soft voice, slowly moving his arms from around Neteyam's waist to the front, hugging the other's now tensed body. Ao'nung's chest stuck to his back while he carefully buried his head against the side of the younger one's neck, heating up the spot where his nose breathed out the warm air.
Neteyam's heartbeat started to pick up its pace even more when he suddenly felt small, incredibly soft kisses being placed on his skin. They became more intense and more wet even with every inch that Ao'nung's lips moved toward his shoulder.
There it was again—this side of him. So sweet and careful, yet filled with this huge amount of lust.
Neteyam didn't know how to react, nor what to respond. But oddly enough, he wouldn't even think about dodging Ao'nung's touches anytime soon. Instead, the young na'vi just let out a trembling sigh, falling more and more into the tight hug.
"Isn't this..", Neteyam started but quickly got cut off by a small bite and the sudden feeling of two very sharp teeth digging into his skin. "Ngh..!", he unexpectedly whimpered out. "Ao'nung, seriously! Isn't it too early for this? We barely know each other, an-.. Agh!", another bite, even deeper this time.
A high-pitched groan left Neteyam's lips while he pressed his fingernails with more strength into the older's thigh. As an apology, Ao'nung let his tongue tickle over the spot where he had just placed those bite marks, taking in the na'vi's scent at the same time.
"It's never too early when it feels right, skxwang", he replied in a deep whisper, feeling the other's tail flick around in nervousness. Slowly moving up again, the teal na'vi placed a small kiss on Neteyam's ear. "You like the way I'm caressing your body, don't you? How I breathe these things into your ear and make you shiver under my presence", he added quietly, tightening the grip around his stomach.
Neteyam stayed silent, the only sounds leaving his mouth being small huffs and tiny gulps.
He couldn't argue against the things Ao'nung said, and they both knew that.
"Neteyam", the boy in the back suddenly spoke out, his tone more strict yet calm. He watched his every blink, move, and breath as said warrior carefully turned his head around, just enough to be able to look Ao'nung deep in the eyes.
"You know", he started, just inches away from Neteyam's face, staring down at his soft lips.
"If you asked me to kiss you, I would".
