"I'm not going to let you pursue me." Sky pouted, he already lost his appetite for the food. He glimpsed at the athlete in front of him who kept beaming like an idiot. A cute idiot. "Remember..."

"That you're a professional and you want to keep it that way," Prapai ended his sentences nonchalantly. Sky didn't say a thing. He was impressed but fought to not let it show. "I've had enough of it to last for a lifetime, though,"

"You sure had some guts though," Sky scoffed. "Lunch time is nearly over. You can go and pursue someone else,"

"Dr Sky..." Prapai said, almost pleading especially with those doe eyes. "I'm not going anywhere soon." Sky watched Prapai as he leaned towards him, nearing more and more. Sky glanced at his lips, he's not sure what should he do now. He could feel Prapai's breath near his face, he smelled like mint and roses. He noticed the long eyelashes, the eager expression as if he was someone he could devour right now right then, the voice of Sig telling him to be extra careful with Prapai sounded loud in his ears.

"You think by seducing me like that will make me fall for you?"

"It doesn't hurt to try," Prapai replied sadistically. Sky smirked at the bravery of it. He stared at Prapai, taking in the handsome face in front of him. Prapai smiled when Sky leaned in towards him.

It was at that moment the door was opened from outside. Sky jumped from his seat and stood up, when Rain dashed inside.

"Hey, doc," he was surprised to see Prapai was in the same room. "You...aren't you the volley guy?" Prapai nodded. "We were just talking about you..."

"Aaaaahhh!" Sky pushed Rain so that he stopped talking. Prapai didn't have to know that they were just gossiping about him that very morning.

"I'll see you around, doc, then," Prapai wasn't keen to stay when Rain arrived. He flashed a deadly smile to Sky when he closed the door behind him.

Sky pinched and massaged his forehead. Sure enough, the headache came and now he couldn't bear to open his eyes without hurting.

This is all Prapai's fault. He shouldn't let the boy break down his walls just like that even though he almost loses the temptation just now. He recollected his thoughts, what if Rain had not entered there would be another story.

It was obvious that Prapai really liked him, and Sky wasn't quite sure whether to reciprocate or not. It would be a disastrous relationship, and Sky was afraid to admit it. There was the infatuation that arose in him, to even bow down to temptation of falling for the handsome boy but it wouldn't be as easy afterwards.

Not with his status right now - not when he was the authority and Prapai should be the one he takes care of. It's not appropriate.

And what if Father knows?

What if what Sig scared of becomes true?

What if Prapai was from that family? How could he cope when he eventually falls for him?

There was a message popped in his phone. He opened it.

'Can we have dinner sometime?' it was from Prapai. The boy didn't know how to stop, huh? But the message brought a smile to Sky as he contemplated how to reply to it. Sky toyed with his phone, obviously wanting to reply to him but didn't want to come out as eager to him. He's supposed to be the adult and the calmer one.

Alright.

Maybe he could give him a chance this time. But not with investigating who he really was.

Sig didn't give him any more clues about Prapai's background. Sky rolled his eyes; it was always him who had to do the job himself. He loves Sig, but sometimes his bodyguard by far is the silliest of them all.
