I walked into my house and my mom, dad, and "uncle" were sitting on the couch. "Hey, What are yall doing here?" I asked when I walked in.

"wassup neph'" My uncle said. "We just visiting" My dad answered. "You missed dinner Lathan. Where were you?"

"We went out to eat," I said as I grabbed water from the fridge. I went to my room and put on headphones. I like listening to music while I play my game.

After a while I feel a presence behind me, I turn around and my uncle is sitting on my bed. I take off my headphones and look at him with a "Why are you in here" look. "Oh I'm bunking with you fo' a few days" he explained after reading my face. 

I nodded and went back to my game. A little while later I get bored and turn off my game. I sat on the bed next to my uncle while he was watching a movie. "What's this?" I asked about the movie. "Gangsta's Paradise," He said nonchalantly.

My uncle is almost 30 so he's still kinda young and into this gangster shit type of movies and music. My dad met him in high school right before he had me. I can't believe my dad was 15 with a child, I'm not tryna get like him.

As I'm watching the movie this cute boy came on the tv. I don't care anymore I'm calling whoever I want cute now. I decided to google the movie and look for him in the cast. He looks hotter in real life. 

I eventually went to sleep because I remembered I got school tomorrow. I turn facing the wall and get comfortable in my bed. My uncle turns off the movie and goes to sleep too.

When I woke up and got ready for school, doing my hygiene and stuff, I got dressed. I put on a black hoodie, with black jeans and black Pumas. Today my dad said he would drive me to school.

After getting dropped off and doing the usual, heading to my locker then class I put my headphones on and took a nap. I am not trying to be bothered today. I felt a tap on my shoulder I looked up and it was Asia. "We're going to Ian's club after school today you coming?" "Yea," I said pulling my phone out to let my parents know.

My parents split after high school and even though they stayed close friends sometimes I wished they stayed together, but sometimes a mistake could fuck up your whole relationship. Not me though, I'm not the mistake that ended them. My mom's cheating did.

During lunch, I gave Ian my lunch. "No, you eat it." He said pushing it back to me. "No, you eat it." I mocked him, pushing the tray to him. We started going back and forth until MJ grabbed the tray. "No, I'll eat it."

I've been avoiding Marco all day, I am not ready for 6th hour. Asia started coming to the table, Usually, I'm the one late, She looks mad too. "Hey Asia," I said as she sat down.  She just looked up and smiled. "What's wrong love?" Ian said as he picked her hand up and kissed it.

"The lunch ladies ran out of fucking food. I am starving." She said. MJ handed her the tray that was once mine. "How the hell you get 2?" Asia asked MJ. "It was Mosey's"

I walked to 6th hour, contemplating skipping. I don't feel like getting in trouble, especially with my dad so I just walked in. I walked past a group of boys and one said "He didn't go through with it." and laughed.

I sat down and put my headphones on, this is how I'm blocking out the world today. Soon I put my head down and drifted off to sleep. I don't know what happened while I was asleep but it was peaceful. When I woke up people were leaving class, so I got up to leave too.

I'm riding to Ian's house with MJ, She has old-school RnB playing so it was a very calm car ride. We're going to Ian's house for a few hours because his club doesn't open until 8. MJ and Asia Did their makeup in the bathroom while Ian changed clothes. I sat on Ian's bed on my phone. I can't fit any clothes here to change into so my options are to have baggy clothes like a 90s rapper, or wear what I wore to school.
