Y/n walked into the club when she heard the loud music playing. That's when she noticed Candy and Shirley talking about a new dance number they had been working on. Y/n was about to make her presence known when Candy spotted her, which made the strawberry blonde woman panic.

"That's when Grey would just do her thing over there and not by the front door," Candy said quickly and grabbed onto Shirley's arm, spinning her around. She wanted to prevent Shirley from seeing Y/n in case she wanted to keep her face hidden. "Is that a new curtain? It's a lovely upgrade from the first one. Your taste is impeccable—"

"It's okay, Candy. Shirley can see me," Y/n said as she walked up to the stage. Shirley furrowed her eyebrows at the mention of her name. She turned and noticed a woman standing there.

It took her a few seconds before the dots connected. This is the first time Shirley had seen her without a mask.

"Oh, wait a hot fiery minute!" Shirley said as she quickly walked down the stairs. Her arms wailed around as she tried her hardest not to trip with her heels. "Oh, my Jesus! You are so drop dead gorgeous, Grey!"

"Oh, stop it, Shirley. When I'm not working, it's Y/n, leave Grey for when the lights are red," the young woman said and welcomed her into her arms. Shirley laughed as she rocked the two of them from side-to-side. The blonde woman pulled away and just held onto Y/n's arms. "I heard that the two of you wanted to see me?"

Shirley glanced over at Candy and nodded her head. The two women led Y/n upstairs to the owner's office. It was unusual for Y/n to be in here. The last time she was here, she came to meet a certain brunette boss. She swore that she could still feel the presence of that awful woman.

Candy shut the door behind them and made her way over to the desk, happily sitting in the large burgundy chair. Shirley joined Candy and sat on the chair's arm.

"Grey, or Y/n rather, I'm going to be frank with you here," Shirley said and stuffed her hands into her pockets. "As you know, the club isn't doing so well. That was until your little performance last week. We've seen so many customers come in and ask for 'the diamond' that I nearly called you to come make another appearance the night after."

Y/n smiled as she sat down in the chair across from them. She immediately started to tap her foot against the floor to ease her racing mind.

"I know Candy said only on your terms, but we need you here, honey," Shirley said and pushed herself off the chair's arm. "We'd like to make you an offer."

"Shirley, I don't—"

"You'd be owner," Candy blurted out. That statement immediately caused Y/n's mind to come to a halt. Her eyes widened at the mere possibility of her running this club with Shirley and Candy by her side. "Well part-owner, but you'd be an owner of this club nonetheless."

"What?" Y/n asked and furrowed her eyebrows. "What are you talking about?"

"You'd be in a three way ownership with Shirley and I. You can call the shots on the club with us being in the background," Candy said and reached out for Y/n's hand across the desk. "You can decide the dances, the music, the entirety of what kind of entertainment happens here. Shirley can manage the bar and staff there, and I'll handle the promotion for the club."
