The sound of heels clicking rapidly against the floor caught all of the team's attention. They turned and saw Penelope rushing towards them with tears in their eyes and her laptop in her hands. JJ immediately stood up and reached out for her.

"Pen? What's wrong?" JJ asked and grabbed Penelope's arm, urging her to sit down in the chair she previously occupied. The blonde woman was hyperventilating as her computer's loud beeping filled the seemingly quiet bullpen. "Penelope, what happened?"

"I, uh, ever since Y/n's incident, I've had some crash detecting software implemented into the cars and your guys' phones," Penelope said and swallowed harshly. She turned her computer screen towards the team.

Tara, Spencer, and Emily were all detected with a crash. Penelope's heart dropped when Emily's blinking tracking circle suddenly vanished. Her phone was either destroyed or turned off. Judging that Tara's and Spencer's were still active, they assumed that Emily had been taken.

"Hey," a voice called out from the team. Y/n stood there with some coffees in her hands. "We ran out of filters, so I had Anderson bring us some coffee. I texted Emily to let them know to pick some up from their store run."

Y/n glanced around at Luke, JJ, and Rossi. She noticed all of them were tense and in shock at the casual conversation. Then she looked down at Penelope who clearly was crying.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Y/n said as her voice trembled. Her heart started racing. JJ took a step forward as Y/n's eyes drifted the computer screen. She saw Tara's and Spencer's name displayed, but not Emily's. "What happened to Emily?"

It didn't take long for the entire team to literally stop what they were doing and run to the cars. JJ immediately halted when she noticed Y/n coming with them.

"No, you have to stay here," JJ said and placed a hand out, distancing herself and Y/n. The young woman looked like she was about to kill JJ for suggesting it.

"Are you fucking crazy?" Y/n snapped and took a step towards JJ. "I'm going—"

"No, you aren't," JJ said sternly. "I made Emily a promise to keep you out of harms way. We don't know what's out there. I am not about to have Dallas win by taking you and Emily."

"That is my fiancé," Y/n said and clenched her jaw. "I will be damned if I sit on the sidelines like some damsel in distress. You all don't know Dallas how I do. I can help, and we are wasting time about this!"

JJ looked back and saw Rossi nod his head. JJ turned back to Y/n and dropped her hand. "You stay in between two of us at all times."

Meanwhile, Emily had woken up with a massive headache. She was about to touch her head when she noticed the cuffs around her wrists. They were nearly cutting off her circulation. The raven-haired woman tried to recognize the room, but nothing stood out. It was completely gray walls with no outside light at all. The only source of light came from a nearly burnt out lightbulb in the center of the room.
