7. Rain

felix had a sinking feeling in his body. he was waiting for jisung so they could walk to school together but he didn't show up. felix had texted and called at least a million times but no answer. he was terrified.

"fuck it..." he said. he was going to jisungs house, something he was told never to do. he hadn't been there since jisungs mom had went missing and his dad had went crazy. jisung had forced him to stay away. he said it was for his own safety due to his fathers unpredictability.

felix was practically running at this point. he honestly didn't know why but something told him that something was wrong. he was in front of jisungs house and he was praying that his dad wasn't home.

he walked up to the door and knocked, when there was no answer he just opened it. he did a quick scan of the house and found that it was indeed empty. that was a relief. yet he didn't feel better.

as he walked down the hallway to his best friend's door his anxiety just seemed to intensify. every step he took was terrifying.
when he actually reached the door he hesitated, ultimately he decided to knock.

"hannie are you in there?" he asked in a sweet voice. hearing no response he pushed the door open and was met with a sight that would never leave his mind.

his best friend was laying lifeless on the bed, covered in blood and he couldn't tell if he was breathing.

"oh my god hannie" he barely stuttered out while grabbing his phone and calling 911.
while it was ringing he ran over and checked jisung.

"911 what's your emergency?" the operator asked.

"um hello yes my best friend is covered in blood and not breathing and i think he he slit his wrists and i don't know what to do" felix cried into the phone, "please help me!"

"ok i'm going to need you to tell me the address. can you do that?"

"um yes it's ********"

"ok thank you. can you tell me your name?"

"i'm felix"

"ok felix we have an ambulance on the way but i need you to do cpr. can you do that until they get there?"

"i can try..."

"oh my god jisung! your awake!" felix screamed immediately bursting into tears. after EMTs arrived they told felix that it didn't look very good and jisung had lost a lot of blood but he shouldn't give up hope. it had been about two days.

"felix? where am i?" jisung asked.

"your in the hospital sung. i came to your house because you didn't come to get me for school and... well... i had to do cpr because..." felix started but couldn't because honestly he was still kind of traumatized from it.

"oh god lix i'm so sorry. i don't know what i was thinking. my dad just got really bad that night and i lost it but you shouldn't have had to do that."

"sung i would do anything for you. you mean the world to me. i love you." felix said.

"i love you too lix." jisung said finally letting his tears fall.

AUTHORS NOTE: damn poor felix. fun fact about me i'm actually cpr certified and getting ready to test for my CNA certification. idk how to feel about this chapter though it's kind of a lot. let me know what you think. also this is this only attempt in the book so congrats that's over.
