Charlie's POV
Hockey season has ended. It's getting to be some of the hottest days of the year. Adam has just been practicing now and conditioning, so we've had a lot more free time. He does this till summer then he has summer off. Everything's been going well between us and all the ducks we know.

Adam comes through the door saying "I'm home, baby." I say "hey" smiling and he sits on the couch with a letter, him just looking at it. I look into his eyes saying "what's that?" He kisses me saying "no idea but there's a wax seal with hockey sticks on it" brushing his hair back. I say "open it" smiling and I kiss his cheek.

He opens it and reads it saying "Adam Banks, you are invited to be a head coach at EPIC Institute for the summer. We train young hockey players to be the next pros like us coaches. We use various science backed techniques to promote health and greatness at our facility. If you are interested in learning more, call, former NHL player, head coach, and co founder of EPIC, Colin Cole at (***)***-****." I say "like the real Colin Cole?"

Adam says "I think so. He was so hot back in the day" and I say "I wonder if he still is." Adam says "I'm gonna call" and he calls him, putting it on speaker. I bite my lip and this sexy voice says "hello?" Adam says "your Colin Cole, right? You wanted me for a coaching job?" The man says "yes, Adam Banks?" Adam says "speaking. I am interested in taking the job since it is the off season." Coach Cole says "all the other coaches aren't as in touch with the kids so I thought we needed you, a younger guy that plays like you've been playing for years. I've seen you play, you're good, and I'd love to have you here."

Adam smirks and mouths 'simp' at me. I smile and chuckle quietly. Adam says "I work for you on one condition." Coach Cole says "I'm willing to work a deal." Adam says "can I bring someone I'd like to think will help out kind of in a sense of being my assistant coach and being the best dorm counselor and leader you'll ever meet. Also, can I bring a dog?"

Coach Cole says "you have a real, I trust your opinion, Banks. We're here to work, this is an institute. Not summer camp." Adam says "I've summer hockey intensives since I was eight. Ive been to Canadas, Swedens, and I did one with The Dentist over in Iceland. I can handle it." Cole says "you worked with The Dentist?" Adam says "beat him in my middle school days, went to Iceland twice for his summer intensive. If I can do that, I can certainly handle yours especially being a coach and not the athlete."

Coach Cole says "alright I'll send you the details. It's like an application just so I can have your records. We love dogs around here." Adam chuckles saying "thank you so much, it's an honor. I'll see you then." They hang up and Adam high fives me saying "I kind of said you were going and didn't tell you." I say "I'm so excited."

Adam says "this is gonna be so much fun. We're going to summer camp together, Charlie." We smile and I say "we can raise so much hell and it'll be so fun." He kisses me and Adam smiles saying "this is going to be crazy. This guy didn't fuck around in his prime." I smile at him saying "I'm so hyped."

Ducky comes over to me and I say "are you ready for summer camp, Ducky? You'll get to see kids and new scenery." I kiss Adam saying "when is this?" Adam says "I'll do my research and I'll let you know" smiling. I cuddle into him and he does his research on this place and he fills out the application Coach Cole sent him.

He says "second week of June, when everyone gets out of school." I say "makes sense." Adam kisses me saying "this brings me back to Eden Hall, what if we aren't rooming together?" I say "we'll get over it like we did back then, you never really slept in your room" chuckling. He says "that's true." He kisses me slowly, resting his hand on my thigh, and the front door slams open. I hear Jacob say "turn on the TV! Turn on the TV!" I groan quietly and I turn the TV on and I say "what channel?" He says "five and go to the beginning of the episode!" Him and Clara sit down on either side of Adam and I as I rewind the news channel.

The news anchor says "Adam Banks, Anaheim Mighty Ducks starting first line center, got engaged?" I say "Adam" and he says "shh" white knuckling my hand. The news anchor says "who is this woman and why hasn't he said anything yet?" Adam sighs and says "holy shit." He leans back into the couch and gently holds my hand. I say "holy shit" looking at him.

The news anchor then says "a source is alleging it's Clara Sands, model and Anaheim Mighty Ducks Ducks wife, Jacob Sands' alleged ex wife." I say "ok, what the fuck" laughing. Clara says "exactly what I said" laughing. Adam says "they really had me in the first half" laughing. Jacob says "I think we've gotta do some press" chuckling.

Adam says "not till preseason, then we wouldn't have to schedule it ourselves. I mean I'm ok with living with it till then if you guys are." Clara says "I don't care." Jacob says "it's funny. I don't care" laughing.

Adam looks at me saying "what do you think?" I say "I don't have a say, I'm not involved, babe." Adam says "you're my fiancé, sunshine. You always have a say" and I say "I think you should address it soon but it's not the end of the world if you wait." He kisses me saying "I could just tweet and tag you both."

Jacob says "let's do that now." Adam smiles at me and pecks my lips saying "I love you" quietly and I say "love you too."
