Charlie's POV
I wake up early and I pack up all my hockey gear and Adam comes back as I'm getting up to shower. He says "good morning" kissing me and he goes to shower when I get out. I get dressed and we go outside and Adam says "the reason I called you guys here and not to go on your own run this morning is because you are going to have the day off today. However, hockey players don't take a true day off. Ever. I haven't eaten cake since I was thirteen. You are going to play real and raw LA suburbs hockey. You think it'll be easy money but it'll be the hardest hockey you'll ever play. I'm not gonna be there to help you either. You have yourselves, your blades, and the hot sun beating down. If you pass out, get the fuck up, drink some water, and get back in the game! Who's ready?"

A car rolls up as the kids scream and hit their sticks on their ground. A window rolls down and Russ says "hey, cake eater, these your kids?" Adam says "yes" and Russ says "we're not that far away, start skating. I'll show you the way" and they all look at each other and AJ Lawrence says "let's go!" They follow the car off campus and I chuckle saying "Adam, they aren't gonna survive." Adam says "we did. They're better than we were at their age. They'll be just fine."

We meet at Alex's RV and she says "Adam has a surprise for us, so he's driving." Sophie says "does he have a license?" Adam says "yes, since I was sixteen. Charlie's the untrustworthy driver, not me" and pulls out of this place. He drives to Honda center and Nick says "holy shit we're at Honda center." I chuckle saying "we sure are" and Adam gets out saying "come on, ducks. Let's roll." We go inside and we go right to the stadium seating and the kids sit down. A guy comes out that I've never seen before. Adam just talks to the kids about being a duck and what that means for them. The guy says "hey, ducks! Alex goes over to him and he quietly says "the coach is having a major PR problem and he's too busy and hurt to see anyone right now. They served duck at a meeting the other day like with the head and everything."

I just giggle quietly and the guy says "but I brought you some merchandise" and gives the kids it and Adam mumbles "let me make some phone calls." He pecks my lips and leaves and talks to the guy then he makes his phone call. I say "sorry guys. I feel like the guy is lying but whatever." Adam comes back after ten minutes and Koob says "how are you not freaking out right now?" I say "my husbands a duck. I'm hear every time the ducks play. I essentially live here."

Koob says "that is insane. The ice is like right there." Alex comes over to us and says "go put your gear on and meet me on the ice." I say "you're a real rebel if you weren't given permission." They go and change into their gear but I just put my skates on. We go out on the ice and Sophie says "this is insane." I say "for sure." They all just smile at each other and skate around then the guy says "I brought you guys some friends to play with you" almost twenty five minutes after we get on the ice.

Adam comes onto the ice and I say "well, that's not special. What a let down" then Jacob and a couple of Adams teammates come on the ice with just skates. Jacob says "cool. Little ducks. Omg, Charlie! This is the best day of my life!" He comes over and hugs me and says "hey, baby, I missed you the most." I say "ya know Adam is here right?" He says "no" sarcastically. I roll my eyes saying "get out of here." A few of the Anaheim Ducks skate on saying "hey, Charlie." I get a "hey, honey" too making me chuckle.

Adam smiles at me and him and his friends catch up briefly. The little ducks just fangirling over all of them. They all just play like little kids and showing off cool tricks they can do. Nick says "who's the most famous person you've met a ducks game?" I say "Snoop Dogg." Adam says "you met Snoop Dogg?" I say "yeah, him on one side of me and Jacobs girl on the other. I was living my best life."

We laugh and Jacob says "I met Jeremy Renner." Adam says "I remember meeting him. He's cool." His friends agree and Jacob says "can't beat Snoop Dogg though." I chuckle saying "he said you two were his favorites too." Nick says "most famous person you've met in general." Adam and I say "Wayne Gretzky" at the same time. We chuckle and Jacob says "damn. That's good. I can't beat that."

We all skate around for awhile then we leave to go back to EPIC, all the kids getting autographs and shit like that. In the RV, I lean into Adam, and he mumbles "I love you." I mumble "I love you too." We get back to campus and we all go back in and go to dinner. Adams team gets back around the same time we do and they are super hyped. Adam says "how'd they treat you?" They all cheer and they go get some food. Evan says "you were right, no mercy out there. Just the sun and a bottle of water, hoping you don't pass out."

Adam says "now you know how to play real hockey" winking at him. Alex says "what did you do to them?" Adam says "sent them to play with the real team USA. School yard puck. Good for team bonding." Coach Cole comes in and him and Alex just kind of look at each other, kind of checking each other out.

I mumble "a little rendezvous at summer camp, huh, Alex?" She says "shut up" smiling and Adam says "and safe! It's in the bag for Adam Banks!" I roll my eyes saying "Adam, I just said he was attractive. I'm not leaving you for him. I barely know him. You even agreed with me." We chuckle and he says "I know, just messing with you, sunshine." His foot taps mine and I smile at him, just rolling my eyes.
