The Surprise of a Lifetime

An hour had passed since Amanda had gone to bed, Liv was sitting on the couch lost in her thoughtS. She started hearing whimpers coming from one of the bedrooms. Liv slowly got to her feet and started walking towards the rooms trying to figure out which room to enter. As she got closer she realized that it was coming from the room that Amanda was in. Fear took over Liv as she barged into the room only to see Amanda alone tossing and turning in bed. As she got closer she was able to make out what Amanda was saying.

"Please don't hurt me, I promise I won't disobey you. I promise I won't go to Liv about anything just please stop" Amanda winner in her sleep, "Please stop you are hurting me...AHHH!"

Amanda shot up in bed after letting out the most painful yell Olivia had ever heard. Realizing she wasn't alone in the room Amanda got scared thinking that Carisi had somehow got in and started begging to not be hurt. Liv's heart shattered into a million pieces.

Moving towards Amanda slowly Liv spoke, "Amanda honey, its me Liv. I'm not going to hurt you I promise.."

After hearing those words Amanda threw herself at Liv, pulling the brunette into a hug. Liv sat down on the bed and held Amanda. She didn't know how long they had been sitting there but she felt Amanda relax into her.

"Liv I'm so sorry. I dont know what's wrong with me." Amanda said with a shaky breath.

Liv pulled her back into the embrace and started rubbing soothing circles on Amanda's back.

"You have no reason to apologize to me. You did nothing wrong. Do you understand that?" Liv said in a soft tone.

Amanda just nodded her head and pressed herself into Liv wrapping her arms tighter around her.

"Manda do you wanna talk about it? You said some things before you shot up.." Liv's voice was laced with concern.

"Liv, he did things to me. Things he had always swore to protect others from. He said he was trying to fix me, that there was something wrong with me and only he could help." Amanda was shaking and on the verge of tears, "Liv he made me promise I wouldn't talk to you about it, I had to cut you off because if I talked to you he would think I told you and hurt me. I was afraid he'd go after you too." Amanda started sobbing.

"Manda just let it out. I'm here and he can't touch you now. If he ever comes near you again he will never walk again and if he hurts you it will be the last thing he does." Liv says in a tone of confidence, Amanda also senses a bit of anger.

The sit in comfortable silence while Liv continues to hold Amanda. She feels the blondes body begin to relax more. Liv starts to remove herself from the bed, as she is laying Amanda down the blonde grabs her wrist.

"Liv will you stay with me?" Amanda said with a weak and raspy voice.

Moving the blonde over Liv begins to climb under the covers. She pulls the blonde to her and begins the soothing circles on her back again. Amanda begins to relax again into Liv.

"Of course I'll stay. I'm here for whatever you need." Liv responded.

"I need you Liv, I've always needed you." Amanda said already dozing off to sleep. "Liv, I love you..."

Before Olivia was able to process what Amanda had just said she was asleep, leaving Liv in her own head to try to figure out what Amanda meant. Liv started to fall asleep herself when she heard the door of her apartment open. Fearing the worst she slowly moved off the bed trying not to wake the blonde. Once she was at the door of the guest bedroom she peered around the corner to see Fin walking in.

"Hey. You scared me. How did everything go?" Liv asked quietly.

"It's a mess but nothing that can't wait until in the morning. I think Muncy and Valasco will be able to handle it. I'll go in tomorrow to oversee everything." Fin stated not leaving room for any objections.

"Thanks Fin." Was all Liv was able to get out before the door behind her swung open and a distraught blonde walked out.

"Liv. You left me..." Amanda spoke with a shaky voice.

"I'm sorry, I heard the door and came to check who it was just to be sure." Liv said softly.

Amanda threw herself into Liv and wrapped her arms around her. Liv embraced Amanda and held her tightly.

"Fin why don't you take the guest room and I'll just take Amanda to my room with me." Liv suggested.

"Alright Liv. If either of you need me don't hesitate to wake me up." Fin told Olivia.

Liv pulled Amanda with her towards her own bedroom. Once inside they closed the door and Liv walked Amanda to the bed. Pulling back the covers Liv nudged Amanda towards the bed. The blonde stiffened not wanting to break contact with the brunette.

"Manda, I'm not going anywhere. Let me tuck you in then I'm going to go around to the other side of the bed. I'll hold you or whatever it is you need after that. I promise."

Amanda let Liv tuck her in. Liv moved hastily around the bed for the blonde. She barely had the chance to get under the comforter before the blonde had her face buried in the crook of Liv's neck. Putting her arms around the smaller woman Liv settled into bed pulling Amanda closer to her. Not long after that Liv let sleep take over her body.

Amanda didn't stir again for the rest of the night. She didn't know if the kids or Amanda would wake up first, but Liv was more than happy to lay there until she was no longer able too.
