Chapter 2: New Group

Jax's POV:
I was finally in a group. When we got to the cabin like house. It was nice. But before we went in, I felt light headed

"Um... you guys.. I see stars.." Jax then passed out
"Oh shit!" Jace said as Jax fell down and everything went to pitch black. Few moments later Jax is waking up slowly and is surrounded by the group,
"How do you know if the injury isn't a zombie one?! I don't wanna risk me and the baby!" Someone said who was pregnant.
"Look, i checked Everything is fine. I didn't see any infection." Jenny said reassuring the person
"If they turn into a zombie I'm blaming you." Someone else said Whos holding a gun
"Oh whatever!" Jenny said

Jax POV
Ugh! I hated how this was going. I needed medical attention. I needed help. But I don't wanna risk any drama or anything.

"I NEED MEDICAL-" Jax said out loud but then someone shot off the gun into the ground, no one is injured
"Goddammit, Roger!" A alien guy in a Hawaiian ripped shirt said to him
"You gotta be careful with the gun, Stupid!" A older woman said to Roger
"I need... help.." Jax said trying to get up
"Don't worry we got you." Jenny said and taking them in all in the house.

In the living room, everyone is in there and Jenny is finished wrapping Jax's leg
"It LOOKS like it hurts like hell." Jace said
"It HURTS like hell." Jax said
"Man where are my manners, let me introduce you to everyone." Jace said
"That alien guy is Pollination Tech 9. He is Jenny's husband." Jace points to the alien guy
"Hello, nice to meet you." PT9 said
"And this little girl and her brother is their kids and my niece and nephew. Jill and Johnny" Jace points to a alien sim hybrid teen with his outfit being slightly dirty and child with pig tails who wearing a pink shirt and ripped jeans with leggings underneath
"That idiot who almost shot you, is Roger. He.. knows HOW to use a gun but uses it carelessly."
"Hey!" Roger Whos wearing a baseball cap, his hair is a medium length mess and he's wearing a denim jacket
"And that's his aunt who raised him, Iris."
"Howdy!" Iris who has light brown curly hair wearing a tshirt and jeans
"And lastly for the last introduction, is my husband Pascal Curious. He's pregnant with an alien baby." Jace pointed to Pascal Whos wearing a dark grey blue shirt with a long sleeve grey shirt underneath
"Hey.. I'm glad you aren't a Walker.."
"Sorry.. it's just that last time we took in someone, the someone was bitten and turned."
"Anyways-"
A door opens and comes in two guys
"Cmon Lazlo, that fish again?!"
"Well what's better, fish or a bird!?" The other guy said
"Oh I'm sorry.. I forgot my brothers were out hunting for food. The blonde hair with the green aviators is Vidcund and the black hair with green glasses is Lazlo."
"Oh a new member? That's good, we need more members." Vidcund said
"Yeah. Anyways we got salmon for dinner. I'll start cooking" Lazlo said as he heads to the kitchen
"Alright well, everyone meetings over, do what y'all need to do!" Jenny said and everyone left to whatever
Pascal, Jace, and Jax were the only ones in the living room
"So Jax.. I hope you know what your doing." Pascal said
"Um.. what do you mean?" Jax said
"We know who you are" Pascal said
"You do..?" Jax said
"Yeah, your Jax. You went to jail years ago for fraud and drug charges. You escaped after the dead starting to rise. Look we know you are.. bad but we need more defense and well yeah. I'm pregnant and I don't want anyone to be near me, or Jace, or my siblings and the baby." Pascal said, looking at Jax.
"Yeah so you need to just help and some days the entire group is out either hunting for food or anything." Jace said
"Sometimes it's just Jill here so if she is here then, you need to watch her but please, don't answer the door to a older looking guy who has a scar on his cheek."
"Mason?" Jax said
"Yeah.. you know why? Well.. long story short, he was in our group but then he became insane and Loki showed up with Circe and took over the group. We escaped. All of us and he's still thankfully haven't caught us but, he could show."
"Damn.. that's scary." Jax said
"Anyways well.. we need to help with dinner and eat. We got another long day tomorrow." Jace said, they then all get up and headed to the kitchen

Jax POV
To be honest I thought I was gonna get blackmailed. But thankfully I didn't. They needed extra protection and I get it. Yeah I'm from prison but I can definitely help. It was nice to seeing everyone around here. We ate and chatted and got to know each other for a while. I told them some stuff although, the prison stuff I'm glad Jace and Pascal didn't bring it up. They said they shouldn't. I don't wanna bring it up at all.
Later after dinner, I went into the basement and I was sharing a room with Vidcund.

Jax got into the room and there was Vidcund sitting on the bed, looking at the photo that Jax has of them and Sadie
"Hey. Why are you in my stuff-?" Jax said to Vidcund
"Oh! Sorry didn't see you. I just saw this and well you and this girl looked happy." Vidcund said
"Yeah.. that's my girlfriend, Sadie. She is the best girlfriend I ever had. But then after the dead rose, I saw her as a Walker and I sadly had to put her out of her misery.." Jax said, sitting down on the bed across from Vidcunds
"Hey.. I know the feeling." Vidcund gives the photo back.
"You do?"
Vidcund nodded and then took a photo of out of his pocket
It was a photo of Him and a girl with brown hair at a festival.
"This is my fiancé. Susanne. She is Jaces sister. Susanne is my love.. unfortunately when the dead came.. I had to leave without her.. I abandoned her and when we got here, I still and we still try to look for her. They tell me to give up but I won't." Vidcund said tearfully
"Damn.. I'm sorry.. hopefully she'll turn out."
"Hopefully.. also you know ASL? She is deaf."
"I only know some."
"We can teach you. We got a lot of stuff to teach you, tomorrow." Vidcund said
"Now I'm going to sleep. I gotta get up early." Vidcund said laying down
"Same as well, y'all need my help and I'll help y'all."
"Thank you.." Vidcund said as he drifted to sleep
Jax then stayed in their bed

Jax POV
It was sad to have conversations like that. I know many couples who were affected by the walkers lost their loved ones by them or forced abandonment..
Sadie didn't abandoned me but I felt like I did cause I went to prison.. I didn't really sleep much the first night. Not only cause of the uncomfortable bed but a lot of anxiety I had. We have a new long day tomorrow and I need to be prepared.
