"Mom!" Neytiri says as we walk up the stairs. A few eyes glance our way, but no one does anything. Why is that? Avatars are forbidden. Why did Neytiri trust me so much to bring me home? Maybe I looked as awful as I felt. I saw the eyes of pity wonder my body.

Neytiri grabbed some clothes, "You change and I will get mother." Neytiri says while pushing me into the room.

I changed into my outfit. A cloth that wraps around my hips and goes under my tail. A cloth covering my front private parts. A loincloth of sorts. I wore a necklace that was enough to cover my breasts. A little bit of cloth wrapped around for more support.

Neytiri remembered the little things I loved to wear. I had a thick thread wrapped around my tail in a cross cross style. My arm cuffs that I didn't know Neytiri kept were in the pile. Neytiri also had a bracelet that went around my thighs.

I walk out and see Neytiri bringing her mother over. "I see you Mo'at." I say when I see her. "I see you Myra."

"Why are you here? You know we don't allow avatars." Mo'at says in a harsh tone. I hate that tears form when she talks to me. "I am dying... and I wanted to spend my last moments here, if you would have me." I say while trying to sound strong.

Neytiri looks at her Mom. Neytiri's eyes were wide and wanting. Mo'at grabbed my hands. "I missed you, Myra." Mo'at says with a smile. I smile back, "Thank you." I say with a smile. "Stay the night. You are one of us." Mo'at says while squeezing my hand. I give her a nod and she walks off.

I turn to Neytiri, "That went better than I thought." I say quietly. Neytiri nods with a smile. "I missed you." I hug Neytiri, she hugs me back after a pause. "Let me rebraid your hair." Neytiri says while taking my hand and leading me into a room.

She undoes every little braid, "You don't know how to braid?" Neytiri asks. "No, I do... Just wanted to keep them in since you braided them." I say quietly. I know Neytiri hears me because she hums.

I feel a white hot pain settle under my eyes. I try to ignore it but the pressure builds up. I lay my head on the ground. Closing my eyes and rubbing them for comfort. Which doesn't comfort me at all.

Neytiri crawls over me and moves over to my head. "What is it?" She asks while touching my head gently. "I have a..." I couldn't find the na'vi word for it. "tumor... in my brain that is killing me." I gesture to my head.

"tumor?" Neytiri asks, trying to pronounce the word. "Sickness." I say once I find the word. "I have a sickness in my head that is killing me." I repeat my words from before. Neytiri brings her hand up to my cheek. I feel a tear fall from my eye. "Ma Myra.." Neytiri says while resting her forehead on mine.

"C-can you finish braiding my hair?" I ask while trying to calm myself down. Neytiri looks at my eyes and after a minute she nods. She crawls back behind me and braids my hair. She was more gentle this time.

"Once I am done with your hair, I can make you some paste to help calm down the headache." Neytiri says quietly. "I would love that."

Once Neytiri finished my braids, which were perfect. I felt better knowing my braids were cleaned up. "Do you need help?" I offer Neytiri as she grabs various leaves. "No, rest." Neytiri says indefinitely. I nod and stay in my spot.

Neytiri comes over and with a bowl of pale yellow paste in it. "It will soothe your head, it's a cooling agent that will help bring down the pressure." Neytiri says as she applies the paste around my forehead. "Neytiri..." I start not knowing what to say to her.

She just continues applying the paste. I am not gonna ruin this moment. Not right now. Not ever again. "Are you still a decent shot with a bow?" I ask with a smile. Neytiri smiles and laughs lightly, hitting me softly on the cheek. My ears go down when she does this. "I'm kidding." I say while shooing her hands away. "You're the best shot I know."

"I am done." Neytiri says once she finishes. "Let us eat." Neytiri gets up and offers me her hand. I grab it and falter a little. It's even getting hard to control this body. Neytiri supports me by grabbing my forearm. "Sorry." I mumble slightly. Neytiri holds onto my hand and leads me to the room to eat.

"Teulu!" I say when we sit down in the circle. "I missed this food." I say while taking a bite. I see Neytiri smile at me from my perihal. I see Mo'at look at us. "What is the paste for?" Mo'at asks. Before I can finish my bite, Neytiri responds. "To relieve her head pressure." Neytiri says. Mo'at nods.

"My sickness." I say while pointing at spots around my head. "Is in my head." I say to Mo'at. She nods. "The paste will help." She says, "I can make some more to help with the joint pains." How did Mo'at know about that? Maybe it was the way I walked. Everything started to hurt.

"Thank you, Mo'at." I say with a smile. She nods and continues eating her dinner. I finished mine, it's the first time I've finished a meal in a while. I can barely keep my food down in my other body.

Once finished with dinner, Neytiri led me to the hammocks. She helps me get into mine. "Are you comfortable?" Neytiri asks while standing over me. I nod. I grab Neytiri's hand. "Thank you for taking care of me."

Neytiri gets closer to me, first resting her forehead on mine. Then laying a soft kiss on my forehead, "Of course, ma Myra. I will always be here to take care of you." With that Neytiri nestled down next to me. I didn't question it. Instead I moved closer to Neytiri. Closing my eyes feeling content with how things played out today. My last days will be in peace

Thank goodness that Neytiri was quick to go back to the way things were. Maybes it's because deep down she knows that I don't have that much time. My body now started to become more hard to control.

My hands would shake, along with my legs. My body was weak.
