I want to be able to call you mine
If only this couldve been another time
I'm sorry if I'm crossing the line
But I lost my sunshine
And now all that's left is the cold, night sky
But the night sky is beautiful
With twinkling stars and dwindling bright lights
The magnificent skyline that won't be visible in the daylight
So why do we associate coldness with the dark night
When it's one of the most beautiful things, and it shines bright
So until I can have some sunlight,
I'll make do with the night
Because it's just as exquisite, and just as tragic
And it's really helpful, the silence.
