Chapter 10

I woke up feeling cozily warm, it was so nice I almost fell right back to sleep-

'Wait a minute! I just said that yesterday!'

I quickly got up, but couldn't stand up entirely, but I could get halfway, so now I was half standing on the bed, wrapped in a thick fuzzy reddish purple blanket, with only my head poking out

'Blanket...so...heavy!'

At that moment, my ears picked up a strange sound close to me on the right

'What's that sound? Huh? Breathing?'

I looked over to the source of the sound and there lay sophia facing me, fast asleep

'Heh? Why is she sleeping next to me? No, the better question is, why am I on her bed?'

Looking around the best I could thanks to the thick cozy blanket restricting my head, I noticed I was on the same bed as before, in fact, this was the same room I found that purple rune in

'Is this sophie's room? Shouldn't she be sleeping with sylas? Wait no! I don't think they have even reached that relationship level yet! ....ugh, I should just stop talking...'

Suddenly sophia started to stir and woke up...kinda

"Fox...xie?" she said half asleep, looking at me hazily

Surprised, I just stood there, staring at her blankly for a few seconds before looking down for a moment, and then to the right to look at the blanket cocooning me

"Go back to sleep foxy...it's too early to be awake yet" she said pulling the blanket closer to herself as she drifted back to sleep

'Huh? Too early? How do you know what time it is while not even awake! Wait...'

I realised that I was missing something crucial, in the room, it was dark! Not completely, but it was dark, I looked around and I noticed a window, to the right of the desk, with black curtains that were closed. What I could tell from the amount of light peaking in, was that it looked like it was-

'Dawn! It's early dawn!'

So rude! Don't interrupt the narrator! Especially when you're in the past! And especially especially when you're the past that the narrator's narrating!! Hmph!

Anyway, I decided to go back to sleep, as it was indeed early, and I didn't have the motivation to get the blankets off me either. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep as the blankets were so cozy, fluffy, and warm that I dozed right off in seconds after laying back down

I was later woken up by-

"Hey foxy, wake up!" said an annoyingly enthusiastic and excited voice, waking me up, I just wanted to sleep more, is that too much to ask?

'No. Shut up...'

"Come on foxyyy! You want to learn magic don't you?"

'WHAT!!??' I quickly jolted up, I got up so fast I nearly sprung into the air from the speed and force of my movement, even with all the blankets wrapped around me

"*Giggle* I'll teach you today!" she beamed happily

'You will!?'

"Yes. However, there's one requirement for me to do so" she smiled innocently. I swore that behind that smile was a hidden evil, to which I merely squinted my eyes at her distrustingly

"For me to teach you, you must come with us on the hunting trip!" she said happily

I was preparing myself for whatever evil she was going to spew upon me, but I nearly choked to death from the shock of what I heard
