I don't like making these, so I'm trying to keep these update "chapters" to a minimum, but I feel like I should give at least some insight as to what's been happening
I've been working on the next chapter, which has made me very aware of a lot of issues, to the point where I can't ignore them anymore, many of which are deeply rooted in how I went about writing the story, to put it simply, the backend is a mess, and when utilising certain parts of it, I can't make sense of how it works. A good example, is the magic system, it didn't actually exist, until a few months ago, like... quite a few times I go through Luna's stats and I'm like, "What is this spell?? How does it work!?", or even better, if I wanted to I can't give Luna new ones, because I'm not sure how to properly do so without making things worse for me down the line
So I've been working on figuring all that out, and actually creating/improving the systems, the world, and everything else. A lot of this requires rewriting parts of the story, to fix various issues and bring those parts more in line with what I want
I'll be getting the rewriting, and world building(not sure what the actual term for this is) done before I release the next chapter, so I can just release it all at once, and not have to potentially make changes to the next chapter a few days or a month after it's already out, I feel bad about doing that sort of thing, especially with how infrequent the chapter releases have been
I feel like I've said this a lot, but, sorry about the lack of updates to the story, and it taking so long to release new ones
