I woke up to a sharp pain in my head that just refused to go away, almost as if it was urging me to get up

'Ughh... go away... I wanna sleep...'

I continued trying to fall back asleep, but that stupid pain kept coming back as soon as I began to drift off, causing me to wake up all over again. After a minute or so of trying in vain, I gave up on sleep and stood up

'Fiiine! I'm up, I'm up... ugh... Why can't I just sleep a little bit more...?'

And as if on cue, the pain briefly returned. Now fully awake with any hope of getting sleep gone, I started looking around. I seemed to be in the exact same location I was when I fell asleep. The window's curtains were slightly pulled back, allowing a bit of light to peak through

'Hm? A window!! Wait! That's right! I haven't seen what's outside yet! Because I've been stuck in here this whole damn time!'

I hastily leaped off the bed and rushed over to the window, hopping onto it I pushed past the curtains, and was greeted by the pleasant warmth of the sun. It was so soothing. I instinctively lay down, and closed my eyes as I basked in the sunlight-

'Wait, what am I doing? I came here to look outside! Not enjoy the cozy and warm sunlight! Gah! I hate this! Stop it fox brain!'

I stood up again and looked out the window. Outside was a large field with flowers varying in colours scattered about, and a fence at the edge making it look like a giant backyard, or like a small farm of sorts

'Wow... it's so... big! It's... it's amazing! When I was human, I always used to think sizes like this was overkill! But now, now it's just amazing!'

The field was mesmerising, I couldn't tell what about it was so appealing, maybe it was the flowers? I never had that great of an interest in flowers though, sure they were pretty, but I never paid much attention to them

While I was staring out the window at the mesmerising field, the upcoming trip crossed my mind

'Hmm, I have to fight on this trip don't I? But I don't know how to fight though...' I casually thought

'Wait, huh!? I forgot about that!! I don't know how to fight!! The closest I've gotten to actually fighting was that over sized rabbit from before! And even then, all I did was swipe at it once and it just... died!! I don't even know how to use magic! Nor do I know how to fight! And I have to fight monsters or whatever it is that numbskull is making me go with for!! I know I've said this previously, and all those times were exaggerations, but this time, this time I really am doomed! I mean, I can't even dodge attacks! The best I can do is run away! Or rely on them to protect me!... To hell with that idea! Having to rely on these pests to protect me... NOT happening!'

My thoughts were suddenly cut short when I heard the door open, I quickly looked over and saw sophia walking in

'Really!? Why is it that she's always showing up at times like this!? Gah! If she couldn't hear me then it wouldn't really be a problem, and I could figure this mess out...' I grumbled

"Hey Luna! Hm? Where-" Sophia said, before noticing I wasn't where she thought I was, and quickly looked around, once she saw me she continued

"Oh! There you are! Would you like some food?"

'Food!? Yes!! Of course! Wait, how did you know I was awake!?' I asked with feigned skepticism

"I didn't!" she said with a smile before continuing

"I came here to see if you were! And if you weren't then I would have woken you up! Because I prepared breakfast!" she exclaimed happily

'How rude! You wouldn't let me sleep... so rude... wait heh? You made food? For me? Lies! I don't believe you!'
