I woke up feeling fuzzily warm

'(Hm...? So... warm...)'

I started hearing soft talking

"Hey sy, I think we should let her sleep a little longer"

"Hm? Yeah, I think she needs that"

'(Huh...? Wha...? Whatever... more sleep...)' I then drifted off back to sleep

When I woke up, I was comfortably curled up around sophie's neck. I kept my eyes slightly open, not wanting my awakeness to be noticed, sophie stayed quiet and sylas was silent as well. This continued for half an hour, with sophie gently petting me occasionally, until we seemed to reach our destination, as three horned beasts came out from the trees

"Trinarl beasts!" Sylas exclaimed

I lifted my head with a yawn right as sophie moved to wake me

"Luna-"

'I know, I'm just gonna stay here... too tired for this' I said leaping off her shoulder and onto the ground, I then moved behind her and lay down, facing the creatures

"Alright, you just stay safe okay?" She said worriedly

'Okay'

She then moved to support sylas

"What the hell, there's so many of them! The quest wasn't kidding!" said sylas

"Okay, let's do this! You keep them occupied and I'll pepper them!"

"Right! Then I'll finish them off!"

Sophie started firing arrows and sylas began drawing their attention, as he stabbed and sliced them

"Woah!" Sylas exclaimed as he narrowly dodged a giant purple ball of some kind of liquid

"They can shoot poison!?" Sophia yelled

'(Didn't I say that before? Hmm, anyway! Hey system, how many are there?)'

[Aproximately eighteen in the open, with thirty seven within the forest, totaling fifty two, all headed to this location]

'(Oh boy, that's a lot! In how long will the ones in the forest get here?)'

[Five minutes]

'(So fast! Can they take on that many of these things? Huh... Oh well, not my problem! I warned her!)'

Sophie let loose an arrow and it embedded itself into the beasts head, killing it. Sylas swung his glowing sword and sliced the side of another beasts head right off, killing it. I counted their kills, sophie got eight, sylas got six

I looked back over at sophie when suddenly a burst of purple liquid exploded right next to me, making me yelp as I was thrown to the side, leaving my left side sizzling and it looked kind of.... almost like, my flesh was eaten away. Which bloody hurt! If this was my last life, I'd be screaming in pain! But strangely it didn't hurt as much as it looks like it would, it still burnt a lot though... ouch

The explosion, my yelp and my now whimpers, caused sophia to look over at me, and almost scream

"Luna!!"

Which of course also made sylas immediately look over, damn I hate him, but at least he was concerned about me, heh. Anyway, ignoring that, I was angry, I felt my fury build up, my whole body became hot, almost too hot, almost like a raging fire, the beast before me froze, staring at me in utter terror as I forced myself to stand up, despite the pain
