Luz's POV;

'IT'S TOO FUCKING HOT.' That was Luz's brain throughout Friday and Saturday, and continuing into Sunday. It was the middle of a heatwave in May, and Luz's cold blooded ass couldn't handle the change in temperature. The Summer Festival is starting in a few weeks as well.

That's it, the heat won't control Luz, she is meant for more than that, it was her dream to become successful and rich. They had a week off school - after that it was exam season. And what had she learnt with Amity? How to kiss. 

Wait, what if she fails? She would have to repeat the year, she'd be left behind.. NAHH that won't happen, she's too smart for that shit. Luz brushed it off, she would study later, for now it was time to go to the mall!

It was the best, she was planning on going with Willow and Gus later as well, just to fuck around. Maybe she should invite Amity out sometime too.. HAHAHHA NO NEVER LOLLLLL. What am I even thinking.

Who is she kidding? There's no way she would go with Luz, sure they like made out a few times and slept together twice.. or thrice.. BUT THATS JUST FRIEND STUFF.

Luz sighed and got ready to go out, it was around sunset she was planning to go late at night, because thats when shit gets fun.

She started undressing, feeling herself cooling down with every piece of clothing she removed. Luz slipped on a plain white baggy t-shirt, and black shorts to compliment it, can never go wrong with black and white.

As Luz made it out into the mall, she kept checking her phone for any messages from Gus and Willow. Stop worrying moron they'll message you about it later, it's still early. 

Her eyes were glued to her phone. Waiting. Watching. hoping- 

BANG

"AH SHIT." Luz yelled out, followed by a string of curses. She was too stuck on her phone and smashed her head on the wall.

"Fucking piece of good for nothing shit. Fuck fuck fuck!" She muttered under her breath, putting her hand on her forehead to see if she was bleeding. She was - just a little bit.

Such a drag, why me? Why now. Luz stayed on the floor for a little bit, getting dirty looks from people passing by. Until a hand started to gently move down her back. Luz got chills and immediately shot up.

"You okay there Noceda?" Amity said, smiling smugly.

HOLY SHIT. OKAY CHILL. Just words and hotness Luz, you got this.

"Uh.. meyesgood." Luz spat out quickly without thinking.

Amity looked surprised, before bursting into laughter, holding her chest to stop. "Jesus Luz what the fuck?" She gave an exhale.

NICE ONE FUCKWAD, WHAT THE FUCK EVEN IS "MEYESGOOD"?? WHAT HAPPENED TO BEING SMOOTH? Luz's face turned a bright red.

"Shut up I'm fine." Luz said, rubbing the back of her neck trying to look cool, her cheeks a peachy pink.

"Sure you are, that's a pretty nasty cut, c'mon let's go get it fixed." Amity said before grabbing Luz by the hand casually. Luz could feel her face burn.

Amity had taken Luz back to her dorm and Luz sat down on the couch. It smelt nice here, she missed it. And not to mention it had A/C, probably the perks of being the smartest student.

Luz watched as Amity scrambled around the cupboards and drawers for her first aid kit, and she couldn't help but admire her. She was just so.. perfect. STOP IT LUZ YOU'RE DOING IT AGAIN. She looked down in embarrassment - this is not the image she wants Amity to know.
