ten!!

Ten chapters!! I am sososo sorry for not posting anything for the past two days, I was really ill and couldn't. I decided to just make these chapters mainly about the party.

Luz's POV:

Today was the day of the party. The 'massive' party with all the popular people. Luz didn't give a shit about the popular people part. She knows that Amity is going, which made her a bit tense. What if someone tries to hit on her? She is hot, so what if some drunken horny moron tries something?

Luz sighed and rubbed her temple before sitting down in the middle of the toy isle. She was in a shop. Buying a gift for Blight. Luz sighed even deeper this time, what is she doing? When did she become so soft?

"Ma'am, I'm going to ask you to get off the floor." Said the shop employee, looking down at Luz with a very judgemental face.

"Oh shoot.." Luz replied in a mumble, embarrassed and quickly getting up. "Sorry about that haha." Luz said with an awkward smile.

The employee sighed and walked off. Way to go Luz, you've made yourself look like a fool. The bigger concern was what to buy Amity?

She wanted to get her something that wasn't dorky in a way, but was as well. Something that screamed "this is definitely from Luz' but also something that was sort of cool. It was difficult to say the least.

What would a girl like Amity like. Drugs? No, she would not dare look in the direction of drugs, Luz thought to herself smiling.

That's when it hit Luz. Those picture compasses! The compass part is useless, but it would be funny to have Amity open the compass to see a note with something stupid on it. Luz grinned mischievously at all the possibilities she had.

It was 5pm. Shit, it was getting late. Luz quickly searched the shop and she found it. It looked pretty on the outside, anybody would think it was something good. Now it was time to pay for it.

"11 snails please." The tired cashier said with no joy in his voice.

11 snails? That's expensive. Luz sighed internally as she rummaged for the money. Amity was lucky that Luz was feeling nice, being far nicer compared to how she used to be. Luz put the money down and picked up the compass and the receipt.

"Willow!! What do I wearrrr..!" Luz shouted over at Willow, who was laying down on the sofa drinking mango juice.

"A pretty pink dress." Willow responded in a non-serious tone.

"Very funny Willow. Get up and help mee!" Luz begged like a needy child. Willow was always like the mother of the friend trio, and Luz was always asking help from Willow.

"Go to dorm 100, those twins are like the masters of partying, they'll help you out." Willow replied, this time being more serious in her response.

What she said was true. Edric and Emira were dubbed as the  party animals, being held back a year because of their reckless behaviour and constant disturbances. Sighing, reluctantly Luz went out of her door, making sure to lock it.

Luz knocked. No response. She knocked again, this time more impatiently, and just as she was about to knock again, Emira opened the door, with a surprised expression on her face.

"Oh! What are you doing here cutie?" Em asked, a little bit confused.

"Help. There's this party and I want to look good so I can impress someone and I don't know how to look good or what to wear." Luz said quickly but slow enough for her to understand.
