MAX'S POV:
El just pulled me in and kissing me, "kids dinner" Joyce yelled we stood up and ran laughing. "Why are you girls so giggly?" Joyce asked smiling "oh no reason I said holding back a laugh, el giggled.
"Max, Neil said you wouldn't be aloud home till at least the end of next year" hopper said night before kissing els forehead. "Oh ok!" I said trying to hide the fact I was really excited,
"come sit girls" Joyce said setting the food down. We sat down and I secretly held els hand under the table.
"Max you'll be sleeping in els room. We were planning on getting el a twin sized bed so she could have more bedroom space but that can wait." Joyce said as we were all eating, "no, no it's ok! I don't mind being crammed up. Her rooms kinda small so the twin size would give her more room." I replied. Honestly I just wanted my only option to be to snuggle up to el. "Ok!" Joyce said "we do kinda already have the bed" she said laughing, we all laughed.
We all finished eating and out our dishes in the sink. "We're gonna change out her bed you girls stay in here and watch a movie." Joyce states, "Ok." El and I both say. They leave and me and el sit on the couch and cuddle up. She looks up and I look down. "I love you max." She says blushing. "I love you too" I whisper leaning in to kiss her. Then we hear hopper "hey kid, we got your be- woah." Hopper says we quickly pull away as Joyce walks in.
"Whats going on in here?" She asks "I uh uhm..." El and I start panicking. "nothing" hopper tells Joyce and kisses her cheek. "Girls why don't you go to els room I'll be in there in a sec.c hopper states. "Oh.... ok" el and I both say. As we run into her room. I sit on her bed and lean on the wall I start crying. She comes up and holds me "hey, hey it's ok." She trying to comfort me I just melt into her arms.
EL'S POV:
Hopper walked in "girls" he said "y-yea? I stutters max was sobbing in my arms "your not in trouble, I just want to know what was going on" he replied trying to calm us down he walked towards us max heard him and sobbed harder. "Hop please stay where you are. I'll tell you in a bit let me calm max down first"
"Ok" he said stepping back. Honestly I just wanted max to be ok I didn't care what hapoend to me. About 30 minutes later Joyce walks in "what's going on. Hop don't lie." She said, I wanted to get to the point so I just said it "me and max were about to kiss when Hop walked in" max sobbed even harder than before. I didn't even know that was possible "Oh my, why are you crying max? It's ok!" She said coming to us and rubbing Max's back.
"I still love you. I love both of you just as much" she tried to calm us, max moved into Joyce and I jumped into Joyce. I started sobbing "kid..." Hopper said "don't, go get some blankets and some hot cocoa." Joyce replied.
He left and went to get hot cocoa. Honestly we were so lucky will was at Mike's and Jonathan was out of town doing photography. I love max but I was scared when Hopper caught us.
