Marinette's POV

My stupid class decided to go out at night in Gotham! And I, being class president/representative, have to supervise them (I don't think it's legal). We end up in a karaoke bar.

I can hear Cesairé and Rossi whispering and laughing about me. Suddenly, Rossi says in a sickly sweet voice, "Hey Marinette! You have such a beautiful voice, how about you go sing." I smile, glad that singing is something I'm good at.

As I walk to the stage, I can hear Cesairé whispering to her best friend, "Don't worry, gurl. She sounds like a warbling goat when she sings. We can take a video and post it online if she doesn't stop bullying you!" Rossi nods in agreement.

I bop my head to the beat as the music starts playing over the speakers, and then I sing into the mic.

Damian's POV

My imbecile brothers forced me to come to this dingy place. All I want to go back to the Manor and play with Titus.

I hear two teenage girls whispering, one with glasses and the other with three pigtails.

Suddenly, a short girl walks onto the stage and towards the microphone. The music starts, and she starts to sing into the microphone.

I stare at her. She looks beautiful as she sings. Suddenly, her beautiful bluebell eyes make contact with my own green ones, rooting me in place.

By now, the two girls whispering look frustrated and angry. The angel onstage notices their agitated state and smirks, amused.
