There's only one word to describe Silas Westbrook.
Cruel.
He's wanted me dead for years, ever since the day we met on the roof.
Thankfully I survived the attempt on my life that day, now years later I'm alive and bei...

Autumn went to class when the bell rang, and all I could think about was all the ways I could kill her Step Father and Mom without making it look like a homicide.
I finished my test early and left. Now I'm waiting for Autumn in the parking lot. After she entrusted her past to me the need to protect her grew even more. It made sense why she was fearful of her Step Father when we stayed the weekend. I should've seen the red flags.
I was happy she trusted me and felt comfortable enough to confide her secrets to me. But I was angry, annoyed and even sick that she had to go through that.
Had I known, I would've done something a long time ago. The only thing stopping me from driving for miles to kill them, is the rules of this shitty place.
That, and I didn't want Autumn to be suspicious. I knew she'd feel guilty if she found out I killed them in her honour. Autumn is a good person, one who wears her heart on her sleeve and can't say no without feeling a wave of guilt wash over her. She's too kind—too sweet. Her kind nature will one day lead to her downfall. Which is why I'll be in her life every step of the way. We're hot and cold, ice and water. We're nothing alike, if anything—Forbidden love. Which made the chase enjoyable from the start.
I knew girls like Autumn would be a challenge. And I'm glad I took the risk, because if I hadn't, I wouldn't have found the beauty within her and made it mine.
Making her mine.
I stood on the sidewalk. My eyes shifting from my phone to the girls batting their eyelashes at me. I stare at them with indifference before returning my gaze on my screen.
Text me back. I urgently awaited a single text from the girl I craved. The girl I promised to love, and cherish better than anyone else ever could.
I look up upon hearing the loud chatter of students nearby.
Mia stood right at her car, immersing in conversation with Peter, my teammate, laughing at whatever he muttered in her ear. She shielded her faux smile with a dainty manicured hand.
Mia might carry herself with dignity and grace, and held herself with the most utmost elegance I've ever seen a person have,—But she couldn't compare to Autumn and she knew that. Scuderi felt inferior and insecure whenever she stood next to little stalker.
Right as he reached for the back of her neck to bring her in for a sloppy kiss, Kenzo made his grand appearance at my side. He marches over in their direction, and students make room for his long strides. The mummers and gasps of the crowd surrounding them must've caught Peter's attention, because the moment he lifts his head, his face was met with a harsh punch.
I stood watching the show, enjoying it.
Mia didn't inch away from her stance. She stood and watched the scene that would soon turn into a bloody mess,—with boredom, as Kenzo bashed the guy's face in with his closed fist. Indifference covered her face. She did this type of shit on purpose. Talk to one of his friends in hopes of making him angry, and when her plan would succeed, she'd turn back into Darlington's Ice Queen, acting as if that wasn't her main goal.
