Basically, there's this Wings of Fire fanfiction among many others called Just A Little Glorybringer For Ya. In this story, there was a character, whose name can singlehandedly disgust the readers and former readers of this story: Macaw.
In the chapter "Failed Flirting", Macaw attempts to flirt with Joy, one of the protagonists. Emphasis on "attempts".
Anyway, in the last pick-up line, a user by the name of @CRYSTALDIAMONDDRAGON commented quote "A friend of mine reads this and ships Joycaw. I went absolutely berserk and nearly strangled her."
The following reply chain resulted in absolute chaos and a war against Macaw.
