IRENE'S POV
I'm on my way sa mall, I'll go shopping.
This past few days have been really stressful for me and my heart. Hindi na ako bumabata kaya I need to take care of myself.
Pinauwi ko na si Irelex since he wanted to go home na rin at gustong makipag kulitan sa mga cousins nya.
Wala akong kasamang body guards dahil hindi naman alam ng family na pupunta ako dito. But I did tell Christine my assistant na kitain ako today sa mall, syempre kailangan ko pa rin ng kasama kahit papaano.
I went to some stores Ofcourse tumingin ng mga jewelries and some amenities na pwede sa bahay. Pero pakiramdam ko kulang na kulang pa rin.
"Christine let's go to the department store" I said to my assistant
"Okay po, dito po tayo maam" she said and lead the way
Actually sinama ko sya dito para may taga tanong ako sa mga saleslady or pag hindi ko alam pwedeng sya ang mag tanong.
"Ma'am, tumawag po ako sa mga security para may taga bitbit po ng pinamili natin" she advised
"Ah oo sige, sabihin mo din mag dala ng sasakyan para sakin" utos ko
"Right away maam" sabi nito at kinuha ang telepono
Nag lakad lakad naman ako dito sa mall at nag tingin tingin.
"Oh this looks cute" I said holding this terno sleepwear
I think I can buy this to give to alexis, dahil nasa hospital sya para medyo magaan naman ang pakiramdam nya.
I'm looking at this pajamas when I felt someone behind me, I think it's Christine kaya kinausap ko ito
"Tine, kindly get this and every colors they have" I said habang lumilingon at hawak ang terno pajamas
"Oh sorry I thought you're my assistant" I apologize immediately when I saw that this is not Christine
"So kukunin nyo po yan?" Tanong nito
I recognise her face
I look at her and yes. She's her.
"Hi, ikaw ung sa Park diba? Ung gave my son ice cream" I said excitedly
"Oh right! Kayo ho pala yan ms. Irene, I thought namamalikmata ako" she said and smile at me
She's cute, she looks very pretty and intelligent she also has chubby cheeks.
"Vynieze right?" I ask. She gladly nodded
"Ah ms. Please give her some personal space" biglang pagitna samin ni Christine
"No Christine, I know her" sabi ko sa assistant ko
"Ganon ho ba maam, sorry po" Christine said to me
"I'm very sorry po madam for my action" she said to vynieze
"Its fine, after all its a little misunderstanding" vynieze smile
I like her, she's also kind. Mukha din syang mayaman based sa mga brands ng shopping bags na hawak nya
"Ms. Irene are you gonna get those po ba? I'm planning to buy that for me kasi" sabi ni vynieze
"Ay kailangan mo ba?" Tanong ko naman
"Ah opo, kakauwi ko lang kasi at medyo mag tatagal ako dito sa ilocos. Wala akong dalang sleepwear" vynieze explained
I thought of it, baka hindi rin naman tanggapin ni alexis to.
"Okay, you can have. Tutal you gave my son an Ice cream naman" I said and hand her the clothes
"Talaga ho? Thankyou so much ms. Irene" she thanked me and give me a wide smile
"Because of your kindness, do you mind having lunch with me?" Vynieze ask
THIRD PERSON'S POV
Umiiral ang pagiging ilocana ni irene when she hears the word "libre" kaya naman she's now sitting with vynieze a young lady, and they're having lunch.
"So what do you do here?" Irene ask
"Well mostly para pumasyal but also to solve some family issues" vynieze replied
"Well, right now I'm having family issues" bulong ni irene
"Ano ho iyon?" Vynieze ask
"Wala, so where do you stay?" Tanong ni irene
"Well sa hotel po, but after today I don't know. Pag nameet ko ang family ng dad ko I don't know na" sagot ng dalaga
"So kamusta naman po si irelex?" Tanong ng dalaga
"He's fine, anyway thankyou pala for looking out for my son that day ha. Masyado lang talaga akong madaming iniisip" Irene explained
"Ah no problem po, anyway kasama nyo po ba sya? Can I see him?" Vynieze ask
"Well nasa bahay na kasi sya, but I'll give you my number para next time that you're free we can hang out" Irene suggested
"That's a good idea po, to be honest wala po kasi akong gaanong kakilala dito. I'm from France po kasi" pag kkwento ng dalaga
"What do you do in fr-" Irene wasn't able to finish her sentence when vynieze excuses herself
Bumalik ito pag tapos ng phone call
"I'm so sorry ms. Irene but I have to go, I'll call you okay?" Vynieze said rushing
"Yah sure" Irene responded
Binayaran na nga ni vynieze ang kinain nila and bid their goodbyes.
Irene went home smiling, finally after a very long time she was able to roam around freely. Plus she met again the young lady vynieze who happened to be as young as alexis
"Oh Irene, masaya ka yata" Puna ni imee
"Well, there's this kid kasi. Para syang ikaw" nakangising saad ni Irene
"Ako? Irene nahihibang kaba?" Kunot noong tanong ni imee
"Ime naman, she's really pretty I swear. Maganda at elegant syang tingnan, I think magugustuhan mo sya when you meet her" Irene mouthed looking at imee
"Edi parang ikaw pala" imee said sitting next to Irene
"Ay basta. I went shopping with her kanina, kumain din kami. She's so kind" pag kkwento ni irene
"Irene, mag iingat ka ha. Election pa naman, hindi lahat ng nakakasama mo ay kaibigan ha" paalala ng nakakatandang kapatid ni irene
"Ate naman I know that, saka hindi na ako bata. And hindi ba pwedeng mag karoon ng mabuting tao sa mundo?" Sarcastic na tanong ni irene. "Lahat ba kailangan may masamang plano?" Tanong ni irene
"Mas mabuti nang nag iingat, our brother is clearly gonna win this election. Kaya naman alam mo ang mga dapat iwasan na" imee explained and left
Irene was still thinking of all the things she did today. Ngayon lang kasi ito muling nakalabas ng bahay dahil sa takot nyang dumugin sya ng tao, and worst harasin sya.
Irene don't want to be reminded of that past, hindi pa rin kasi matanggap ni irene that politics is the reason why her dad died, why she had to lose someone dear to her by serving this country.
