I am very nervous. Ngayon ko lang kasi makakasalamuha ang family ni alexis
It's Lola's birthday and dad said to invite the chen's for formality along with the other families that supported us. Pero mamaya pa sila, for now Family muna ni Alexis.
"Tita" I walk to tita Irene
"Do you think they'll like me?" I ask
She then face me and fix my collar and tie
"You're a marcos my dear, ofcourse they will" She respond with a smile
"But they are Chens tita. Probably the most famous Chinese Clan in our country" I said with nervousness
"You are congressman sandro marcos, the eldest of the only marcos name that's running" She smiles
To be honest sobrang baba ng tingin ko sa sarili ko, Yes I may be part of the First family, I'm also a congressman who also happened to be the oldest and 1 of the only 3 marcoses bloodline.
But compare to the Chens? I am nothing. I mean, compare to my fiance? Walang wala ako.
"Don't be nervous son, this is just one of the few things you'll have to face as a man" dad said as we all gather in front of the front door to welcome the Chens
I'm in the middle, my parents are next to me on each side. Dad is on the right side next to tita Irene, while my mother and tita imee is on my left side
The door opened and there are two securities that walked first and went to left and right then the Chens walked in
Nasa gitna ang pinakamamahal ko with her elegant navy blue dress and pearl necklace with diamond earrings. Next to her is her dad and brothers, and on their back is another woman next to her dad is vynieze.
"Mr. President" Mr. Chen greeted with his hand out
My dad shook it.
"Mr. Isidro Chen, pleasure to meet you" He smiled
"Good evening sir" I greeted him
"Congressman" tipid nitong saad
"Mrs. Araneta" He smiled brightly greeting my aunt
"My love" I greeted with nervous smile and hugged her
"My brothers babe" She said and showed me her 2 older brothers and 2 younger brothers
"This is the twins right?" I said smiling
"My mother" I heard from her and presented the woman behind them
"Mrs. Chen, good evening" I greeted
"Ms. Divina nalang congressman" she said and hugged me and kisses both my cheeks
"Mr. President Good evening" she greeted my dad
Everyone greeted everyone and we sat down
IRENE'S POV
"Welcome to our humble home" I said to Mr. Salvador, I mean Chen. Ah basta, si sid nalang.
"A really lovely home Mrs. Araneta" he smile
I'm stealing glances of most beautiful girl in the house of marcoses, no other than alexis herself. She really knows how to dress, with that simple yet so classy navy blue dress it exposes her light skin which is her most head turning asset.
With some of her hair in braids and some are just hanging out makes her look like a goddess
I hope I'm hiding well my admiration towards the soon to be wife of my nephew
