Hi!

A/N

Thank you all for reading! This journet has been really fun and your support was amazing, thanks again!

I hope you all cried at the final chapter because I know I did.

Ending explanation

So, this is me basically obsessing over my own story and hoping that someone noticed all the small details. Anyway...

In the final chapter the meaning of the song is the most important part. Besides the fact that it's 'their' song. I mean he really liked it and they had a moment while talking about it.

!Remember that I translated partigiano to Azgeda, but when Khalida translates the part to Roan she uses the word warrior instead!

'Una mattina mi son alzato, e ho trovato l'invasor.' (that translates to 'One morning I awakened and I found the invader') is about the morning Azgeda invaded Westari, hence she found the invader. Then at the part that translates to 'And if I die as an Azgeda, you must bury me' refers to the fact that she almost became Azgeda. Like how she became loyal to Roan and protected him and stuff like that. 'Seppellire lassú in montagna, sotto l'ombra di un bel fior', is her last request to be buried up in the mountain under a beautiful flower. Unlike Trikru, the Westari were buried in the ground.

I know it was a bit confusing and shocking to suddenly find out that they liked each other before Azgeda invaded Westari. But if you look really closely at the details you might find the hints. For example when Roan asks her to translate the song she thinks 'Was he still that man after all?', referring to the man she fell in love with before everything. Then also on the trip to Becca's island when he found her and had Clarke patch her up. Notice how he first seems to care and then suddenly jumps out of the rover, putting distance between them and turns cold again. Again on Becca's island when he takes care of her wound and stuff. 'Then he left me. He had been acting weird around me ever since he stitched me up. I sometimes found him staring at me and then quickly turning away. Or he would just leave very quickly after telling me something.' The way he just quickly leaves her is to remind himself to not get attached, not to care. And the staring thing.

'The usual anger brewing in my chest whenever he was around seemed to have dulled. Maybe I had accepted that I would be stuck with him, that I would have to defend him, fight for him, and be loyal to him. I don't know.' This was a small hint that she didn't hate him anymore and found peace in having to be on his side all the time. Just like when she talks to Clarke on their way to Becca, Khlaida says that she doesn't hate it all the time.

If you got confused over Roan's confession; he meant that when he first met Khalida in Polis and later in the woods she reminded him so much of Celestina. So he just made up any excuse to have her close and then he found out that they were the same person.

So their back story is that Khalida/Celestina was the princess over the Westari people. She was in an arranged marriage with Roan to form an allience between the clans. During a couple of weeks they got to know each other and love each other (even if they didn't admit that) But before they could marry Nia decided to wipe out the Westari people.

Anyway, I'm done rambling now, so bye!
