Chapter 10

Alaska ran and ran, eventually he arrived at the lake. He looked at his reflection in the water, a tear dropped into the lake while thinking how his alpha could do this to him but also being understanding that this could mean war between his pack and the river pack.

Alaska sat down by the lake hoping that his beloved mate was doing okay.

At the moonlight pack camp, "Dakota we have to do something about this otherwise there will be war!" Sandy said with a worried tone in her voice. Dakota stayed quiet for a moment, "We will hold our intruder captured here" Dakota said with a calm tone. Her pack mates looked shocked but nodded as their pack leader had spoken. Dakota jumped of of her alpha rock and left the camp to find out where Alaska went.

Alaska had fallen asleep by the lake, after sleeping a few minuts he heard a growl close to him so he opend his eyes, as he looked up he came face to face with the pack leader Smoke of river pack '. Alaska looked frightend, "you must be my sisters mate?" the alpha said angrily. Alaska nodded quietly as he felt very frightend, "stand up" the alpha wolf said. Alaska did what he was told to do. suddenly the river pack alpha got tackled by Dakota, "don't you dare touch my pack mate you bastard!" dakota growled angrily. Alaska stood in shock as he saw how the two alpha's were fighting, "ha! you fool you really think that you can beat me!?" Smoke yelled towards Dakota. Dakota gave him a grin as she pushed Smoke on the ground "did you forget? a few years ago i almost beated you to death but this time i'll make sure to kill you..." Dakota growled as she had spoken. Smoke's facial expression changed from anger to a little stressed and frightend. Dakota held him down on the ground watching his facial expression change.

"Dakota! come on please don't kill him, it's not worth it.." Alaska said with an worried face. Dakota looked up at her pack mate, "give me one good reason to not kill him?" Dakota asked. "1 it will start a war between the two pack's second he is the brother of my mate and if he dies i will lose my mate and i will do anything to keep her as my mate!" Alaska said with a serious tone in his voice. Dakota stared at Alaska for a few seconds as she turned her head back towards her enemy, "Smoke i hate to say this but i won't kill you" Dakota said, Smoke smiled "but you have to  understand that i will kill you if you start a war." Dakota said looking Smoke right into the eyes. Smoke nodded "yes Dakota i understand." Smoke said with a grin.

Alaska let Smoke get up, "oh and btw Dakota don't ever trust me.." Smoke said, Dakota looked confused and not a second later Alaska got attacked by one of the river pack wolves almost being beated to death.

"Alaska!!!" Dakota yelled out of panic and shock, Smoke laughed madly as he stormed off after they almost killed Alaska. Dakota ran to Alaska as he was hurt and bleeding allot, "oh Alaska.. i am so so sorry...." Dakota said with pain in her eyes as she pulled Alaska on her back.

Dakota dragged Alaska on her back, back to camp.
