Chapter 3

Suns POV:
It was 4 in the morning, I was asleep in my bed until I heard someone whisper "Psst Sun" but I ignored it and turned around, continuing my sleep. "Sun wake up" they continued to whisper, I turned around peeking a bit to see who it was. Of course it was Solar... "what" I muttered, "You have to go to work soon wake up" he said, he pointed at my alarm clock showing that it was almost time. "5 more minutes..." I muttered, going under the blankets. "You have to wake up or you will be late for work, come on. I'll be downstairs making breakfast" Why do I have to wake up so early, just to work at a daycare... A small reason why I even chose that job is so I could get to sleep in a bit more. I soon got up and started getting ready for work, putting on bright colored clothes, so the kids would be able to spot me. After a bit I was finally done and got out, this time I didn't forget my lunch. "Bye Solar see you later! Don't come to the daycare if it isn't an emergency!" I shouted. I soon left heading to work once again.

I soon arrived at the daycare this time the slide was closed for some reason so I have look for another way in. I went downstairs trying to find another entrance, soon enough I was found with the big wooden doors. I was looking for a way to open the door to get in the daycare, but the door wouldn't budge open! I tried pushing and pulling, but nothing! My last hope is to just charge at it, I took a few steps back. "Okay I got this... 3... 2... 1..."

Moon's POV:
As I waited for Sun to arrive, I was setting everything up for when the children arrive. After a bit there was a loud thud coming from outside. "What was that?" I went outside seeing what made that noise, the only thing that was out there was Sun for some reason she was lying on the floor, "Sunny? Why are you lying on the ground?" I asked. "Umm... the door wouldn't open, so I may have charged at it" she said. "The doors are really heavy to just simply open them, but are you okay?" I asked her, helping her up from the floor "Yep I'm okay! I'm used to falling a lot". I looked at her a bit confused wondering what she meant that she is used to it. Is it common for her to fall a lot? "Soooo... what are you up to right now?" She asked "I was setting up everything for when the kids arrive but I'm already done" I told her, she stood there looking around the daycare. "Is there anything I should do or should know?" "Well their are a few special kids that sometimes come to the daycare, but they come here rarely, but you shouldn't worry about that just yet. Any questions?" "Is there any age range to the daycare? Just wondering that's it" she asks. "Well normally we just take care of kids ages 4-10, but sometimes teens come here sometimes. If there chill they get to stay here, but if they start playing pranks or misbehaving they get kicked out." "Great I'll still have to deal with them..." she muttered.

No one's POV:
After a few questions and rules he remembered something he had to give Sun before working at the daycare. "One thing before anything your work uniform is upstairs" he stated "I get an outfit like you guys?!" She say's excitedly, "Yea follow me, I left them in my room upstairs". They both soon went upstairs through a secrete stair way area, having to go up through many stairs until they had finally reached a red door. Moon opens the door revealing a huge room filled with tons of comfy decor "This is my room, used to be emptier, but took a few bean bags and blankets to make this place look comfier" he said. Sun sprint inside jumping straight at the pilles of pillows and blankets in the bed, "It's so comfy and warm!" Sun shouted excitedly, rolling in all of the comfy blankets, Moon sat down in the corner of the bed, smiling as he watched Sun engulfed herself in blankets. "Ima take some of your blankets home for myself, there so comfy, I can just melt away in them" she whispers as she lays down her head on his lap. "That's fine just don't take the blue one, since that's not actually mine"

Sun's POV:
    It was so comfy just being wrapped in these blankets, I was slowly falling asleep, until I felt someone patting my head. I looked up staring right at Moon "Don't fall asleep just yet sunshine, we still have work" he whispered. I sat up real quick, realizing how close are faces where together, ending up head butting him. "Oof-" , "Eep- I'm so sorry-" I soon lost my balance falling off the bed. "You alright?!" He asked worriedly, I tried to get up but couldn't since I was in a burrito in all of these comfy blankets! "Yep! Just can't get up..." I said, soon giving up and laid still. He soon got up from the bed going behind me a bit, I couldn't see him at all. "Hey where did you- WOAH!-" I got a bit startled feeling him help me back up helping me back on my feet. "There you go, you should probably hurry up and change to your uniform its in the corner over there I'll be downstairs" he said, soon leaving me alone, embarrassed...
"Why am I like this..." I muttered, I soon got out of all the blankets finally able to walk. I went over towards the corner he said my uniform was at. I moved a few items around finally finding a box with a sticky note, "Daycare Attendant Uniforms for Sun" I soon opened it finding a few different outfits in their, I grabbed the one at the very top, since there was no more time to waste. It had a mask just like moons, and a bow tie. I hurried up putting it on and rushed downstairs, just in time before the kids arrived.
Moon was letting them in from the big doors, the ball pit still out of service for some reason. I soon rushed over towards them, "I'm back" I told him, all of a sudden the kids stared at me, I stood there confused wondering what happened they were excited a minute ago, why the sudden change?... "Welcome back, kids this is Sun she will be working here with me taking care of you little gremlins" he said, "Hi everyone nice meeting you all! I'm Sun and will be in charge of playtime for now on!" I shouted, trying my best to stay cheerful, but secretly panicking in the inside. They weren't as quite like this yesterday, do they not recognize me in this outfit?
    After what felt like hours, (actually a minute) they all seemed to be back to being cheerful, thank goodness I thought I messed up already. "Alright everyone you can go ahead and play around don't go in the ball pit do, if you need anything both Sun and I will be walking around making sure everyone is okay" he told them, soon all of them ran off into the play structures. We were now alone once more, "Why is the ball pit out of service?" I asked him, "Someone had an accident in there and now someone has to clean that up" he said. That's really gross... "Did the uniforms fit you okay? They look a bit big on you" "I think its supposed to be like that, I really enjoy the cute bow in the back!" I shouted, twirling a bit showing the red bow that goes around my waist. "Just couldn't get the mask on without the sun beams falling" "Want help with that?" He asked "yes please!" i got closer handing the mask over, he lifted my head up with his hand, we were now staring face to face once more. I spaced out looking into his red eyes, not realizing that he finally put it on. "Sunny? Hello?" "Huh!- Oh, sorry I space out a lot hehe..." "Oh that's alright I got it on for you" he said pointing at it. My vision on my left eye got a bit dark but I could still see everything around me. "Thanks for the help!" I said giving a bright smile, we soon went back taking care of the kids.
