Chapter 18

No one's POV:
     As the kids were slowly getting dropped off at the daycare, a mother came running seeming out of breath. Sun noticed her and walked towards her "Hello Mam, is everything alright? You seem to be in distress" sun asked her, "Your the daycare attendant right! I need you to take care of my baby for a few hours, I'm running late to work, and the babysitter canceled on me today! Can you take care of her" the mother quickly shouted as she placed a bag filled with baby formulas and dippers next to Sun. Suns eyes sparkled as she saw the baby infant she was carrying with her, but soon remembered the age limit for the kids "Miss, we don't really take care of infants here" Sun told her, but the mother only seemed to panic more "Please! You have to make an exception this one time!" She begged almost breaking into tears. Sun stood there worriedly, "Okay, okay. Just this one time. I promise to take care of her, but I'm going to get in big trouble if anyone finds out" Sun told her, as she picked up the bag. "Thank you so much... please take good care of her, I'll come as soon as possible I promise" soon the lady handed over the baby to sun and quickly left the daycare.

Suns POV:
     As I took the baby from her I noticed they seemed to be very small. They didn't even seem to be 1 year old, "Hey mam how old-" as I looked up I noticed she was already gone. 'I didn't even get there name or anything...'. I slowly made my way into the main area where everyone was at, making sure to hide the baby from moon, since he's definitely going to get mad at me for this. But the baby is so small and cute and the mother seemed to be in a rush so I couldn't say no to either of them. "How am i going to take care of you little ray. Let's see if your Mom left a list in this bag she gave me", I started looking through the bag seeing a bunch of baby formula and dippers. 'She should have a schedule or something I can look to know more about how to take care of her', soon I stumbled across a piece of paper at the very bottom of the bag 'There it is'. I started reading through it, having her nap time and when I should feed her.
     As I was reading I didn't realize moon was walking towards me. "Hey Sun! What do you have there?" He asked, I quickly looked up at him. 'Oh no... I'm so going to get in trouble!' I quickly hid the baby, holding her closer towards my chest so Moon couldn't see her. "Oh nothing, just a few new toys for the kids you know" "Why are you acting strangely? Did you do something wrong again." Just as he said that, I heard crying. I looked down seeing that the baby just woke up and in the worst timing! I looked back at moon smiling awkwardly, "Sunny what is that." "Umm nothing..." I muttered, quickly facing the other way to try to hide the baby from him. "Shh shh, it's okay" I whispered, as I tried to calm the baby. I looked back up seeing moon in front of me, his arms were crossed. "Why do you have a baby sun." He said, I stared at him worriedly knowing there is no way out of this situation. "She's mine?..." I lied, hoping he would believe it. He started giggling a bit "Oh really now~ Since when did we ever get a little one?~". I sighed in defeat "I'm sorry Moony... there was a Lady seeming to be in a big rush and I agreed to take care of her baby" I muttered, soon the baby stopped crying. "Sun you know the rules. No kids younger than 4. We can't take care of her baby while taking care of the other children" he told me, "But look at how cute she looks!" I said, as I showed him the baby that was just looking at the both of us confusingly.
   He brought a hand up to my face, giving a small kiss on the cheek  "Fine... but only because you look cute when your all excited". I giggled a bit smiling brightly, "Thank you so much! I promise I won't mess this up!" I shouted giving him a quick nuzzle since I had my hands full so I couldn't give him a hug.

Moons POV:
     They soon left, heading towards the cloud corner since it's quieter in there. 'I'm guessing I'm on my own today...' I sighed, feeling a bit sad I won't be able to see sun all day. At least she's happy... 'I wonder... what if maybe later on we have a small family of are own'. I smiled at the thought of having a baby of are own, but it's a bit too early for us to become parents. I soon started taking care of the children for the rest of the day.
       After a good while of taking care of the kids, I went over towards the cloud corner to check up with sun. "Hey sunny is everything alright in here?" I whispered, I looked around noticing her in one of the corner of the room laying down on the floor, as the baby sat in front of her playing with a plushie. I walked towards them, sitting next to her, "Hey sunshine, how's it going here?" I asked, giving her little head pats. She looked up to me smiling brightly "just watching her play, she had just woken up a bit ago so she isn't as fussy as before" she said, I looked at the baby seeing that she has been looking at me for a bit. Her face tilted a bit before making weird baby noises. "Hello there little one, you having fun?" I whispered to her as I reached towards her to carry her. As I did she just kept touching my face with her small hands, she giggled a bit. "I think she likes you Moony" I started giggling as she kept touching. Her little hands were so small and soft they tickled.
     Sun smiled gently enjoying this little moment "Hey moon..." I looked at her hearing out what she was going to say. "Yes sunny?...", I looked at her seeing her eyes sparkling brightly. "Do you know how to feed her? There's baby formula but I have to idea how to make milk for her to eat". I sat there realizing that we both don't know how to make milk for her, but how hard could it be? "I have no clue, this is my first time that a baby has came here. Let's go to the kitchen and figure it out okay" I told her. We got out of the cloud corner and started walking towards the staff only room where the kitchen is located at. "This is the formula the mom gave me" she said, as she handed me the powder. I read the instructions in the back looking through the images it had, 'this is going to be a piece of cake'
