Chapter 12

No one's POV:
    It was finally Valentine's Day, everyone in the plex. Everyone was up and ready with there flowers and chocolates to give to there special someone. All of the children was sitting at the arts and crafts table creating cards with there favorite attendant, Sunny!
     She was helping all of the children cut out there heart shaped cards, so they could get decorated and ready to be gifted.

Suns POV:
       Moon had to go upstairs, saying that he was going to check on something. I was left alone down stairs having to take care all of the children all alone. "Hey Ms. Sun!" I heard one of the children shout my name, I turned around seeing a little kid next to me. "What happened little star? Do you need any help cutting your card?" I asked them, they shook there head no "I wanted to ask if your going to make a card for your special someone like us!".
     All of a sudden I remembered I haven't made anything for Moon! This is the perfect day to give him something, if he declines I could always say that it was as a friend. "Oh your right! I'll get on that right away, thanks for the reminder sunshine" I said, giving them little head pats. They soon ran away with there card in hand, I went over to an open seat to get started with the card.
     It has to be classic, so I'll use a heart shape base. I looked over to all of the supplies in front of me, noticing a bunch of googly eyes, glitter, markers, and GLITTER GLUE!!! 'Im going to need tons of that'. As I gathered all of my supplies I was going to use for his card, I soon got started working on it.

Moons POV:
    I told Sunny was going to check something upstairs, but the only reason I really went was to talk to my older brother. I barged inside, opening the door wide open "LUNAR! I need help now!" I shouted, "Stop shouting! What do you want now" I walked towards him, pulling a chair to sit next to him. "Its valentines day, and I need help with the Sunny situation" I told him, he put his phone done and stood up. "Why don't you just tell her how you feel? Its simple." "No its not. Look can you just please help me just this once..." I muttered, he sighed. "Okay." he paused for a moment, thinking of something. "Pretend I'm her, act like your about to ask me out" he said, I looked at him confusedly. "what??? How is that suppose to help???" "Its practice. Just do it before this gets any weirder" he muttered. I took a deep breath 'hopefully this works or im going to kill him...'
    "H-hey Sunny... You know how its Valentines and all..." I took a really big breath "I was wondering if you could maybe go out with me!" I shouted out quickly, Lunar looked at me straight in the eyes. "What was that." "I did what you said" "YOU WANT TO SCARE HER AWAY OR ASK HER OUT?!" he shouted, soon coming over towards me and hitting my head. "Ask her out..." "Then try that again, no shouting or nothing. Act normal." I took another deep breath trying my best to calm myself, 'Come on you got this... Its just Lunar its not actually Sun. Lets go for a different approach to this'.
"Okay I got this... Hey there little lady, would you like to go out sometime. Just you and I,  laying on my bed tonight~" I said smirking, Lunar seemed even more disappointed  "No." "What??? But I didn't shout out anything!!!" "You have no idea how stupid you just looked while saying that." I looked down, frustrated 'why is this so hard!!!'

Lunars POV:
     'Okay so this isn't really working. How much of a dumbass can this idiot be..'  I thought to myself, thinking of a different approach to this. "Lets go for something else. I'm going to pretend to be that sunny girl, and your going to ask me out okay." I told him, he simple nodded not knowing how to respond to that. I cleared my throat, "Oh wow! I'm a single lady looking for someone to be with!" I said in a high pitch voice, "SHE DOSNT SOUND LIKE THAT AT ALL!" he yelled, quickly getting up from his chair embarrassed. "JUST GO WITH IT!" I yelled back, "Ugh, I hate you so much..." he muttered. "Oh Moon! How are you doing this fine day" I said, continuing the act. "Hey there Sun..." he said, looking annoyed. "continue the way you are if you don't want any help." I told him, holding his shoulder tightly.
  "Alright! Alright! no need to bring violence to this!", I let go of his shoulder, and we continued the act. "Hey there Sunny, Im doing great today. How about you?" "I'm doing amazing! Its such an amazing day today! Everyone is having such fun enjoying there time with there loved ones, I wish I had one" I said, continuing the act. "I have something to confess... I've been hiding these feelings for a long time now, I think your such a wonderful person. Every time I see you, you always make me feel so happy" he took my hands with his, looking up face to face. His face was red from embarrassment, but he was actually doing it! "What is it Moony?" I muttered, he kept eye contact waiting for the right moment, "If I could ever be so lucky to date such a beautiful girl like you, it would be a dream come true... I'm asking if you would like to be mine" he said, his hands were holding mine tighter.

~like 5 min before the act~
Suns POV:
      I was finally done with his card! It came out amazing! I might have gone a bit over board with the glitter glue do, but who doesn't like glitter glue! It's very shiny and tasty! Even do I have no idea how it tastes like, I can tell it would taste great 😌
       Now I just have one last thing to do, deliver it... I'm a bit worried, 'what if he hates it, and trows it out!' Kept running through my mind. 'No! I can't think like that! Especially right now, we have to stay positive! It's now or never...'. I looked over to the kids seeing all of them still working on there cards, I'm going to leave just for a bit, shouldn't take long. "I'll be right back children, I need to go do something real quick. Should be back in 5 minutes, don't move from the arts and crafts area while I'm gone!" I told them, soon running off over towards the secret staircase that leads to his room. 'I can't believe I'm actually doing this! Hopefully he doesn't hates it'
       As I finally reached the door, I stopped for a minute hesitating... 'Come on Sunny just one door away, just knock already!' I stood there a lot of second thoughts where coming across my mind. All of a sudden I heard someone talking in there, it sounded like a girl... 'Why is there a girl in his room...' I leaned closer to the door, trying to hear what they where talking about. "I have something to confess... I've been hiding these feelings for a long time now, I think your such a wonderful person. Every time I see you, you always make me feel so happy" "What is it Moony?" The girl said, there was a small pause. "If I could ever be so lucky to date such a beautiful girl like you, it would be a dream come true... I'm asking if you would like to be mine".
    'I-I guess he was in love with someone else... I knew we would never actually be anything more than friends...'. Tears fell down my eyes, i used my sleeve to try and wipe it off but they just kept on falling... I quickly ran downstairs, not wanting to look back....

[this is where his last pov lasted off]
Lunars POV:
      He started leaning closer to my face, closing his eyes. I quickly stopped him, putting my hand in front of his face "Dumbass, don't get over carried away. We are pretending remember." I told him, he soon snapped out of it realizing what was happening. "Oh shit- Sorry! Sorry! I got caught up with the moment and I actually thought you where her-" I cut him off, before he makes this even weirder. "At least you where able to actually do it this time. You didn't hesitate or did anything stupid" "Wait really" "Surprisingly yes. Now just do that to her, but don't kiss her right away, you must ask for consent since you two aren't that close" I told him, he nodded and soon ran downstairs "Thanks Lunar! I owe you a bunch!" He shouted. 'Finally some peace and quiet... Hopefully he doesn't make a fool of himself out there'
