Chapter 1
Busy with his company, Taehyung was stressed with his work. He merely can even finish 5-10 of the paperwork these days. All he can do was sigh knowing he can't defeat his biggest rival.
"Mr. Kim, the meeting is about to start." His secretary Hinata told him while knocking on the door.
"I'm coming" He coldly replied.
He stands up from his seat and takes his blazer to wear it. He went out of his office with his hands in his pocket. His secretary bowed to him and he just ignored her. He walked inside the elevator, his heavy footsteps were enough to scare his employees who were in the hallway and let him get inside the elevator first.
"Mr. Kim, in today's meeting, Mr. Jeon will be here." Hinata said knowing that the two have a conflict.
"What he's going to do in the meeting? He's not invited at all." Taehyung asked and gritted his teeth hearing his rival's name.
"I am not sure yet, Mr. Kim, but he said he just wanted to see you because you're not replying to his text and calls. Also, he is interested in today's meeting. Besides, he's part of our shareholder." Hinata explained.
Taehyung fisted his hands because of his anger. The elevator opened and he went out of the elevator. Hinata swallowed hard and started to pray hoping there was no world war 3 during the meeting. They arrived in the meeting room, and the board members and shareholders were already inside.
Taehyung's eyes met Jungkook's teasing eyes. Jungkook literally sitting on his seat with a smirk on his lips. The tension was so clear between them. Taehyung rolled his eyes and takes a seat on Jungkook's right side instead.
"Start now" Taehyung spoke with his deep and stern tone.
The discussion of the meeting is about the company's current loss which was getting worst each day.
"The PR team found out that the scale of our current stock isn't making any progress even though we try to improve our product." Martin said, the team leader of the PR team.
"Also, the finance team saw how the failure of our sales in the market." Martin added.
"What are we going to do in this situation, Mr. Kim? This is bad news for us. We are losing a lot of money." Yuna is the director of the company.
"If this continues, we are going to bankrupt." Hannah is the HR director.
"Just seeing this situation already messed up, there's no way you can solve this kind of situation unless you have a huge amount of money, Mr. Kim." Jungkook spoke.
"Is there any solution for this?" Taehyung ignored Jungkook.
"I don't think there's any solution for this, Mr. Kim. Our company's earnings won't be able to do anything to solve this. Our shareholders are backing off after seeing the result. The only solution we can do is to find a shareholder who has a huge amount of money and a successful company to supply our product." Martin stated.
"I can help, Mr. Kim." Jungkook grinned.
The people inside the meeting room were looking at Jungkook but Jungkook's eyes were only focused on Taehyung.
"In what exchanged?" Taehyung looked at him but glared.
"You have to marry me so I can assure that our deal will be sealed." Jungkook snickered.
The people inside widened their eyes in surprise. They didn't expect to hear that coming from him.
