Chapter 8
“I don't understand why you are being silent with that guy. When you are arguing with me, you usually talk shit against me. But with that guy, you didn't even bother to trash-talk him.” Jungkook speaks while walking behind Taehyung.
But Taehyung didn't even respond to him.
“You are being oddly quiet today. I don't know what happened between you two, but I believe it was something worse. I can see anger on your face, but it is unclear to me why you felt sad or something toward him.”
Jungkook continues to talk to Taehyung, but again, Taehyung didn't at least say a word to him.
“Hey, what's wrong wi...”
He grabbed Taehyung's right wrist, turning him around. He couldn't complete his sentence when he saw tears falling from Taehyung's eyes. He was shocked and surprised at the same time because Taehyung was known for having a cold attitude and seeing him in tears was strange for him.
“What are you crying for? Did my words hurt you? Don't cry, people might think I am hurting you.” He immediately pulled Taehyung closer to him, hiding him from the people who were walking surrounding them.
“D... don't mention him, please. I don't want to hear anything about him, I… it scared me, Jungkook. I'm scared.” Taehyung cried on Jungkook's shoulder.
Just hearing Gyun's voice already frightened him. And seeing him walking free makes him feel scared more. If he didn't get into a relationship with Gyun, he wouldn't have experienced that terrifying moment in his life.
“I didn't want to see him, I felt so disgusted. Why? Why did he do that to me? I thought he loves me, but why? I trusted him.” Taehyung shakily said while remembering what happened during those days.
“Sshh, baby, don't cry, that person won't hurt you anymore. I'm sorry for mentioning him, that won't happen again.” Jungkook attempted to comfort him by caressing his head and pecking the top of his head.
Taehyung tightly clutched Jungkook's coat, sobbing continuously. He felt regret having a relationship with Gyun. He thought being in love with someone he loves will be the best feeling, but he was mistaken because Gyun proved it. He really loved Gyun when they were in a relationship because he believed Gyun was the one for him.
But when months of being in a relationship with him, he found out what Gyun's real intention was, and he felt disgusted with it. He is just some sort of experiment for Gyun. He wasn't even sure if Gyun really loved him or not.
“We should go somewhere else, people are watching you.” Jungkook told him.
Taehyung nodded his head, pulling away from Jungkook with swollen eyes. Jungkook removed his coat and put it over Taehyung's head to at least hide his face.
“Let's go.” He held Taehyung's hand and pulled him with him.
He opened the car for Taehyung and let him go inside first before he goes into the driver's seat. He drove away from the restaurant to bring Taehyung somewhere peaceful.
