Chapter 16
“Well, you can take everything I have and make them yours, but you see, this one is off-limits. I'm afraid I might go to such lengths to keep him away from you.” Jungkook shot back to Jimin.
“Ooh, that's amazing of you, Jeon. You sounded as if you're challenging me, do you really think you can keep it up?” Jimin sneered.
“Why don't we give it a try, then? Let's see who will do much better between us,” Jungkook smirked.
Taehyung sighed, he couldn't believe they were literally arguing about him as if he couldn't hear them.
“That's what I like about you, Jeon, you know how to play your games.” Jimin grinned. “but you see, I like challenges, mostly if they really catch my eye,” he glanced at Taehyung back to Jungkook.
“Well, I'm the one who got him first, don't you think you should back out?” Jungkook glared at Jimin.
“Why don't you make me? It would be worth playing your games if I will get a worthy reward,” Jimin smiled, mockingly.
“I'm sorry to interrupt, but I wouldn't be part of this game. I'm not a reward or something,” Taehyung intervened.
“See, I know this one will be worth it,” Jimin smirked.
“I'm leaving,” Taehyung rolled his eyes. “and I don't really want to say this, but I exclusively belong to Jungkook,” he told Jimin before walking away with Jin following him.
Jungkook didn't obviously show it but he was taken aback when Taehyung said that. A proud smirk formed on his lips as he watched his soon-to-be husband walking away from the company. He looked at Jimin and smiled before leaving him as well.
“I want him mine,” Jimin muttered as he watched Jungkook's partner disappear from his sight.
“Is there something you want me to do, Sir?”
“Try to look for that person's information. Make sure to be careful; if he really belongs to Jungkook, I'm not surprised if Jungkook already hides his information.” Jimin responded to that question.
“I understand, Sir,” that person bowed their head behind Jimin before leaving him to start his own investigation.
A malicious grin swayed on Jimin's face as he licked his bottom lip, thinking of a certain someone.
“This will be interesting,” he chuckled maniacally before he was called by his secretary to get ready for the celebration.
“Argued with Jungkook again?” he flinched when he heard a familiar voice appeared beside him.
“Not your problem, Min,” Jimin retorted, rolling his eyes, and started to walk.
“You sure know how to make his blood boil,” Yoongi sighed, following him.
“It's fun to play with him,” Jimin smirked.
“Not until he would threaten to kill you or something,” Yoongi shrugged.
“I don't care, as long as I still feel fun, that would only matter,” Jimin commented.
“I'm just saying that you should be careful, you know Jungkook, once he snapped, he would do anything to get revenge. Besides, he's a man of his word, don't take him as a joke,” Yoongi reminded him.
Jimin simply rolled his eyes and they both went inside the hall of the celebration.
