Chapter 7

While they were eating, someone stopped beside their table.

“It's been a while, Kim.”

Taehyung stopped eating when he heard a familiar voice speak. His jaw clenched, not wanting to look at that person.

“I haven't seen you in a while, how are you now? I heard your company isn't doing as well, it's so sad to hear that.”

Taehyung looked at that person and smiled.

“That's none of your concern, Gyun.” He said with a smile.

“Are you still upset with me? We can talk about it, let's fix it, Taehyung.” Gyun retorted and was about to touch Taehyung's hand on the table, but Taehyung was quick to remove his hand.

“There's nothing to fix, Gyun. What happened between us was a mistake. I don't need your apology or your explanation. Mind your own business.” Taehyung replied in a stern tone.

“Don't be like this, Taehyung, don't act as if we didn't get into a relationship.” Gyun uttered with a dramatic tone.

Taehyung's hands fisted, glaring at Gyun with a disgusting look. Since Gyun's voice was also loud enough for people to hear in the restaurant.

“Why don't we talk about it, Taehyung? I'm sure you will forgive me. Who knows, you might love me back as you used to do back then.” Gyun stated with a sly smirk, knowing that people can hear him.

“You…”

“This is getting boring.”

Taehyung and Gyun looked at Jungkook, who was wiping his lips with the napkin.

“Jeon, I didn't know that you're also here.” Gyun smiled innocently.

“Of course, you're blind, besides that, you are deaf, am I wrong?” Jungkook grinned.

“What do you mean by that, Jeon? I haven't done anything wrong to you, though.” Gyun snickered.

“Didn't you understand what he just said? He told you to mind your own business, didn't he? Then, why are you still here, making a fuss?” Jungkook stated.

“I'm not making a fuss, I just want to talk to my ex-boyfriend.” Gyun retorted.

“He doesn't want to, he was being obvious about that. And, who told you that you can talk to my fiancé?” Jungkook smirked.

“Fiancé?” Gyun glanced at Taehyung back to Jungkook with a confused face.

“What are you talking about, Jeon? You two are rivals, you surely can't live with him.” Gyun replied.

“Ah, you're not deaf nor blind, you're seriously stupid. I think you need help, no?”

Jungkook put his hand on top of Gyun's shoulder and squeezed it, causing Gyun to hiss silently.

“I'm having a peaceful date with my fiancé, but since you ruined it, don't you think you deserve a punch in the face?” Jungkook glared at Gyun who was slightly shaking for some reason.

“Let's just leave, Jungkook.”

Taehyung stands up from his seat and pulled Jungkook's hand from Gyun's shoulder.

“Why, baby? I just want to talk to him.” Jungkook smiled at Taehyung.

“Please, Jungkook.” Taehyung said while looking at Jungkook with mixed emotions in his eyes that Jungkook can't read.

“Fine.” Jungkook rolled his eyes and poked his tongue in his cheeks.

Taehyung and Jungkook turned around to walk away from Gyun.

“Taehyung! I won't do that again! Believe in me, Taehyung!” Gyun yelled.

But Taehyung just left with Jungkook following behind him.
