Soon they reached the ice cream shop and Jungguk opened the door of car for Taehyung, smiling at him. Taehyung could only gave a small smile, because Jungguk's word gave him trust in himself that he could find his way back again. Even that easy feeling was for sometime but he felt content.

And when he looked ahead of them, there layed the shop he loved ice cream from since their teen. He gazed back at jungguk who was grinning beside him.

Jungguk's shifting from his parents house to his own mansion had held distances between Freinds since last 2 years that they had stopped coming out together like this. They would only meet at weekends. They couldn't take time to go out together due to their scheduled jobs. All of them had become so busy in their careers.

But now spending time with Jungguk like this Taehyung realized that how much he missed younger who wouldn't have let him rest even for a sec in school days. His non stop bickering, jokes and protective fights were Taehyung's daily booster. Then jungguk distanced himself after university. He wondered what had taken them apart in this time?

Only if he knew the reason.

But still fewthings never change like Jungguk's care for Taehyung and knowing everything what older likes and do not. And most importantly, how to make him feel better.

Jungguk could feel older's Continues gaze on him, it wasn't like he was complaining tho. Tae's gaze was just so soft like him, like he was trying to find something out of staring at younger.

For Taehyung he was trying to figure out why Jungguk was like this with him? So calm and selfless.

Why Jungguk was so unexplainable for tae?

Yet he let it pass as there was no way he could find out despite knowing him for years.

So as they went inside the little cozy shop, Jungguk didn't forget to order his favourite flavour strawberry-chocolate mix and one vanilla-chocolate for himself and sat together on coffee table by the window as it wasn't rushed there.

Staff here knew them very well as they had visited this place so many times in high school during lunch breaks yet this place still had the best ever ice cream in whole town.

They waited and when they got served, they shared their flavours eating from each other's cup. Most likely Jungguk was the one to raid Taehyung's cup to try to get him smile but to his sadness Taehyung didn't argue back at all.

Opposite of what old tae would have done, Taehyung just merely smiled through it and let the younger had his ice cream. It was really saddening.

When Taehyung noticed how Jungguk sighed and silently dug in his own ice cream. He felt a pang inside his chest. He was disappointing Jungguk even after his alot of efforts.

He nervously chewed oh his bottom lip and tried to be more normal, getting himself together he dug his stick in jungguk's ice cream and had a bite from it. Jungguk snapped his head up only to see Taehyung munching on the vanilla ice cream and liking it.

Jungguk chuckled at the cuteness and slide his cup more toward him, making Taehyung to smile in relief. May be for other's they could have been looking quite a weird pair as they weren't talking much but only they knew that they were talking with their actions and eyes, smiling time to time. It was a Taegukk thing.

Taehyung realized how Jungguk's company had made him think a little more sensible. If taehyung had pushed him away that day when he purposed to get married, or yelled at them to leave him alone as it was so frustrating the day he woke up, he would surely have done something to himself. He would have never been this normal.
